Make up bruses all around and yes drybrushing is supposed to give you a chalky finish

opus are just expensive for the sake of it really, i did own an opus for a long time until it recently died, cheapish make up brushes are pretty much exactly the same the only real difference i noticed was opus was a little stiffer, but i personally prefer the looser hair on the cheap brushes as i do a lot of organic models

don't need fancy opus brushes, get cheap make-up brushes from ebay etc,
