An uncle of mine graduated from a police academy 30 years ago during late 1980s.Since the 1960s,the officer uniform is a tan color similar to that State H.P. agency.By the year 1996,my uncle's police dept.changed uniform color to midnight blue to look just like other city/municipal police departments in that State.

Oh nice, my security guard uniform looked exactly the same. Pretty sure they’ll get this question, “are you an officer...or.....”
Not a single Trooper likes these uniforms. Look how hard it was for them to find something positive to say about the uniform.
