Thanks for making this very easy to follow... I am a new Force owner and I went ahead and installed a larger SSD inside. I was only just a little curious why you created a subfolder for HD when the ssd is an HD? Also should I move the Expansion folder from Internal to the new SSD? The only thing currently in SSD is Synths
Bonjour, j’ai acheté un Akai Force d’occasion, mais l’ancien propriétaire a effacé les expansions d’usines qui se trouvaient en interne, je souhaite pouvoir les réinstaller, comment les retrouver ?
Hello, I bought a used Akai Force, but the previous owner erased the factory expansions that were in-house, I wish I could reinstall them, how do I find them? Bonjour! Ca va? C'est la saison de ski pour moi. Akai Support for Factory data.
Sorry to bother you 8 months later, but I've just received my force today and have issues downloading my plugins. I have to connect my hard drive to use them; they are not downloaded into the Force. I just want to relocate the synths on my external drive (melotron, odyssey and solina) into the internal ps : I'm sorry for the bad English (I'm French)
You need to install a SSD HD inside the Force and re-download/activate. If u r plugging an external in then it will likely stash em there. Internal has limited space. Ill watch for ur reply.
Je parle un peu de Francais, your English is far better than my French. See my other videos about installing a Solid State Drive (not the old style magnetic spinning cheap HD) inside the Force. Put NOTHING on the Internal drive, it will only be for updates; Save ALL your projects to the new SSD. Flip the Force over, remove 4 screws on the little panel, and attach the SSD. Best!
Hey there, are you sure that the samples used in the project are deleted as well ? I run out of internal memory and this operation doesn't solve the problem... still have to struggle with 17MB free space😢😢
They should be... Menu, Browser, Places - Internal, Force Documents. Go through each folder, Projects, Samples, and Programs folder which has saved Keygroups. If you have samples saved or key groups, move those (may have to re-load the sample in each song; I try to have a copy in that track's folder so it isn't a problem)

@@protenuator many thanks
How do you move the files between drives? Is there a copy option that I don't see?
No copy option. Open the Project and do a Save As to the HD you install. Delete the old files.
