Every person who knew about the game has a personal story to this franchise but I didn’t. This was one of those titles I downloaded on my Wii U and was hooked by the premise of classic movie monsters. Played any available but loved the first four games the most.
You didn't need to. It's a commitment. You just have to think before jumping. I haven't found myself screaming I wish I could control myself mid air. Mario fanboys lose their shit over it, but the game isn't about precision jumping onto shit. It's about smacking motherfuckers until there's none left.
It’s a pretty important freedom to have in games which is why most games have some form of it. Even a degree of deceleration would help. Granted the game is still plenty beatable but the jarring nature is understandable
