Fantastic patches Jameson. The Poly Evolver is a really special synth and you took it in a direction I don’t think I’ve heard before. I always like when someone does that.
I wonder if it would be possible to recreate these on the Tempest? Supposedly they should have a lot in common in the architecture. Have you used anything in the sound design that is not available in the Tempest architecture?
Damn man… watching again. You really made these patches into complete songs without anything else. Just great sounds and playing, is buy this if released as an EP. Amazing work!
Really appreciate that man! I’m making a similar mini documentary on the Prophet 12 and also made a score for that with just that synth, so I think I may pull my favorites from that and the Poly Evolver to make a little ep :)
your sound design on this synth might be my favorite sounds ever. what a gorgeous instrument. id like to see what you can do with the Waldorf M. more difficult to get plucky percussive transient-heavy envelope sounds, but with its multiple digital and analog saturation and resolution stages + all of the undulating looping modulation options combined with the beautiful digital wavetables through the analog vcf/vca, it can really hit some magical sweet spots. sounds a little similar to these patches at times, just with a slower attack or less exponential decay stage
Fantastic work, really musical. With the array of instruments you've featured on this channel, I'm curious what would be your 'desert island' poly synth?
@@JamesonNathanJones Interesting, you'd prefer that to a P5/10? I have checked out a few comparison videos of them and, to my ear, there does seem to be reasonable disparity re analoginess (so to speak). That said, it has always sounded excellent in any of your work.
I think the fourth, rhythmic patch was my favourite. 😎👍🏼
I like the music. I like the man. I like.
I like turtles.
Do you like the blue? I do!

The stereo nature of this synth shines thru brightly! Youre patches and playing are gorgeous!
Thanks! Yeah that’s been a lot of fun to explore for sure.
Dave would be proud. Great stuff. I love my PEK, thanks for the inspiration.
you kidding? this sounds are gorgeous. Amazing device and quality of sounds achievable.
Beautiful!
Great to see you doing more videos of the Poly Evolver! That last patch gave me goosebumps! Nice work!
Awesome synth. It really does it's own thing. I think Sequential should re-release this synth but with a minimum of 8 voices.
Wow - much better than any of my videos on the Poly Evolver. These patches and melodies sound great.
Ran across some of your videos while researching the PE and they were great! 🙏

What a beautiful synth with such a great sound. Thanks for sharing it with us ❤
That groove 4 needs a good beat underneath and some singing. Duuude.... i'm inspired! Please do something with it!!
Why isn't this video 30-40 minutes longer?
Love the vibes and melodies!💅 you nailed it!
Really gorgeous patches
Thanks!
The first patch is amazing!

Brilliant. It reinvigorates me to carry on with just four voices. Thanks for your work!
i just discovered your channel, am absolutely loving everything i hear
Thanks! And welcome!
Cool, would love to have a soundbank build by you. Although I have the mono
Beautiful. What a fantastic sounding Synth. Great performance, how ever❤
I love all of these so much Jameson! Becoming a big fan of your work:)
the fm sounds so good !
Such an under rated synth. I should have never sold mine. Tons of sounds wolfgang gartner used on tracks like illmerica
great sounds! congrats on the excelente patches and performance
Thank you for this new demonstration ❤
I really love these patches. The first one was especially cool
🙏🙏
Dave smith is amazing! I have his tetra and Mopho x4 and prophet 6 . I wanted one of these recently and the prices are up in the $5K+
Its 2 am and this makes me gas so hard to for this unobtainium.
Impressive! great patches!
Amazing and would love to see a detailed tutorial of this beautiful poly evolver
Made a patch from scratch with it in this one :) th-cam.com/video/yeU7i07sPEE/w-d-xo.html
Great as always.
You really make the PEK sing! I should pull mine out of storage and give it a play…

Hmm probably the Prophet 6 for bread and butter analog. Maybe Iridium if my desert island didn’t have a computer 😅

Fabulous!! 😍
Why do I love the mod wheels light up lol
Haha I don’t know but I do too. 🙌
Why do I love fireworks, lazer tag and cotton candy?
@@nostandingonlydancin 😂
Never mind the kitchen, It's the Chef.
A+. It's hard to call the PE underrated, but man....
It’s one of a kind for sure 🙌
Wowowowow! Really nice! What kind of effects and processing did you use?
Thank you! Just a touch of Specular Tempus Spatium on a send for a little space.
@@JamesonNathanJones Waiting for that EP!
Fucking Amazing
Some day, I will own one.
You can buy mine
@@ILove_808 don't have the $4k-$5k they are going for on hand at the moment.
❤
:)
If you make a soundbank, I will buy it straight away
