Aqua faba - the liquid from canned chickpeas - works perfectly as an egg white or whole egg replacement and it can be frozen too. I've used it as egg whites to bake meringues, and as whole eggs in cakes, etc. Best of all is that's it's free since most people just dump the liquid from canned chickpeas down the drain and each can of chickpeas nets me an equivalent of about 4 - 5 eggs and there's no bean flavor in your baked goods. Each 3 Tbsp of liquid equals 1 egg or egg white and I freeze mine in ice cube trays then pop them into a freezer bag once they've frozen. I made it entirely past the shortage last time because I keep my pantry stocked and rotate my foods along with my deep freezer. Smart thing to do is to buy when they have items on sale. This is why I’m able to not struggle and can go to my freezer any time and pull certain meats and foods out. You think people are intentionally infecting wild migratory birds, domestic chickens and/or ducks? I'm Canadian and we had several poutry farms affected last month with avian flu, the H5N1 strain, via migratory birds. Our winter weather started late this year - normally would have started a month or so earlier and birds would have migrated then. That same Avian flu strain has been spreading in parts of the US for a couple - few years now and I read that a new avian strain, H5N9, was found just the other day in a duck farm in California. I don't think people are intentionally infecting wild birds myself and their feces, as they fly overhead, can contribute to the spread the virus, as well as it being spread by handling infected birds.

All of the items here are well stocked and on sale in my area. I paid $4.00 for a flat of eggs (30 eggs) this weekend at our local flea market. The lady I bought them from has 5000 hens. Don't let these videos panic you. Everything will be fine.
Not everyone lives in your area though so ....
As per baby formula when my brothers were born my moms peditrician gave my mom recipe for formula dark karo syrup evaporated milk water that was 1957 thru1960 thats all my brothers had til they could tolerate whole milk maybe thats what i had in 1947 but i do know my brothers were never overweight or had colic of course the bottles of formula were put in sterilizer
That's what my mother gave us.
I gave up on eggs in my diet. It's now $6.50 for a dozen.
All of the new mothers should have learned from 2020 and switched to the best milk for their babies. Breast milk
.My sisters and I always nursed our babies the way God intended us to feed our precious babies
And what about those mothers who CAN NOT NURSE???Those who chose not to? Side note: remember that every GOP in Congress voted against Biden's bill to get free formula or help with buying it...there's the prolife folks revealing their hypocrisy.
That's all well and good, but there are times women can't breastfeed. Many medications make that impossible no matter how much the new mother may want to. We already feel bad that we can't provide for our babies. We don't need your comments to make us feel worse.
@@slightlymadmom6532 Exactly-which is why I replied with that thought. I had my kids at the height of 'awake & aware' childbirth movement and mothers were so militant about what they thought the 'perfect' motherhood experience was. Stop moralizing, stop with the female on female attacks! Encourage!
All businesses struggling to keep shelves full
No alcohol is safe to drink!!!Problem solved.Buy local, cook from scratch!!! Plant and can or freeze. You dont need lots of land, use planters. boxes containers.Covenience and processed is no longer affordable.Get your kids out to do pick yourself farms! Now that the labourers are departed You get to pick locally!Be inovative, local and seasonal with your produce and meat.Rabbits and backyard flock of 5 or six laying hens .Rabbit hutches and small chicken coops can make a come back and your kids can take part instead of playing on their computers! Double win! The poo is for your plants ! In hard times we become inovative and selk relient and probably healthier in many ways! lol
Goats milk is better tolerated if you can't find formula, but will need to keep up with baby vitamins
Raw goats milk may carry bird flu. The experts are recommending no raw milk of any kind right now.
I don't care about getting drunk drinking alcohol I'm worried about food
Coffig is a GREAT coffee substitute. No caffeine, perfect taste.
Funny how Canada isn't having any of these problems.
I pay $5 dz right from the farm
What about making ghee from unsalted butter and sealing it in canning j 0:15 jars?
I do that.
I have been making ghee for years and love it! On the other side when the chips are down I will bake with powdered butter and save the good stuff (ghee) for breads and special cooking.
Flax seed iS GREAT for baking. Easy to find in grocery specialty sections.😊
I don't use many of these products or only small amounts. I like peanut butter on my toast
BS. It's not the weather being to hot. Brazil and Vietnam are in the BRICS and there is 100% tariffs on their imports to the USA.
Source? Because I can't find anything even close to that.
Proof
You can't grow coffee yourself either, i have friends who tried, it was so funny, I nearly died laughing. I house sat for them i had instructions to pick each single ripe bean & freeze it. There were maybe 20 beans after 6 months. 😅
Don't use the "fake" eggs, it will be harder to get them back to a regular price. THINK We are getting our eggs from a small farmer in the city. Colorado governor, fool, has signed a bill to make all chickens free range in all grocery stores. $11.50 for 18 eggs. My farmer sells his eggs for $7.00 for 18
Cows are also getting the bird flu.
Thanks for the info, as well as the alternatives.
What is the ratio of banana 🍌 or flax seed to water as an egg🥚 equivalent?
Google egg substitutes. Delish has a very nice, detailed article with additional substitutes. Easy ideas and exact measurements.
3 tablespoons of water to 1 tablespoons of flax meal...
@melvado Thank you!
Plant based butter, milks, yogurts, proteins, etc.
It's videos like these that empty the shelves. People go hoard these very items, causing a shortage. SMH
And now you're fear mongering....
Everything has a consequence.
California is probably the second largest producer of rice. Definitely impacted by global warming.
Big brother and pharma manipulating the weather is more like it!
Chemtrails criss -crossing our skies everyday with their chemicals.
You lose by driving 20 minutes to buy eggs as gas isn't cheap
I have to drive 30 minutes to get to any store!
I will give up eggs, I gave up beef.
So did I! I refuse to pay those outrageous prices! My diet in meat has been mainly chicken and lean pork, and pretty often shrimp, because it's cheaper than beef, but also better for your heart! I started that 25 years ago because of my husband's heart condition and continued since he passed 10 years ago.
Not only will climate change be a culprit, it will be the infrastructure and transportation problems that will interfere with food production and delivery. The pole shift has been on going and as a result where wheat is now planted potatoes might have to be. HARD TIMES ARE ON THE WAY!
I couldnt find Egglands best eggs or Freshpet dog food
I agree most of the time what we don’t know won’t hurt us
To get past this nonsense I will buy more rice and an egg crate . Just to be on the safe side. I made it entirely past the shortage last time because I keep my pantry stocked and rotate my foods along with my deep freezer. Smart thing to do is to buy when they have items on sale. This is why I’m able to not struggle and can go to my freezer any time and pull certain meats and foods out. Common sense is to think ahead and not have to worry when it happens because you are prepared. Also power outages a power box and generator are great to have on hand.
The text to speech, repetitive sentences and mispronunciations discredit this information. It drives me nuts every time I hear a mispronounced common word or due to poor editing, the text repeats itself, just differently. And who are you really? No introduction. No credentials. No face. repetitive unrelated images just to fill video.
Tea and Peppercorns are imported and don't grow here. .You didn't mention either of these very common items.
We can always use the bag in a box which has been case for 50 years. But eggs down in the farm.
Glass shortage seriously? Because we don’t have enough sand in the desert? Get real
You can actually like can eggs (jar them). They last a lot longer than six months.
Wine is not a necessity
Yes it is. For me. Lol. Especially with musk and veep trump.
Maybe not to you. No shortage of it anyway.
Eggs!😮
Why didn't you mention the cost of tariffs on food products coming from Mexico? Or the fact that the government's mass deportation means that farmers will not have workers in the fields? Coffee prices will escalate if punitive tariffs are place on Colombia.
😆 🤣 😆 🤣 😆 🤣 😆 🤣
How about hiring fellow Americans? How about that??
@@blueeyes3They won't work in the fields or the dangerous meat processing plants!
Monsantos dream situation
That’s OK I don’t drink! 2:59
The Bible calls it "famine" (Luke 21:11)
Shortage is not famine. Famine is far more severe than short supply. It is NO supply, starvation.
@@lauriesmith7517agreed. Oh no more double stuffed Oreos. I DECLARE FAMINE!
Realists call it climate change and trump tariffs.
True
Psalm 37:19-19 KJV
18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
I'm going to die of a migraine without coffee!!
I bleed coffee! No no no !!!
Need to find a healthier substitution
Thank god we live in Australia
you can make your own: butter/carnation/mayo.
Selfishly putting up this kind of stuff may cause panic buying for heaven’s sake! People are scared enough with just the thought of Donald Trump being in the White House again. We made it through the Covid epidemic without starving to death. If it looks like Trump will actually deport the immigrants who pick our crops for us, then get a good book on gardening, jot down some notes, and plant some vegetables if you are able-bodied and own a bit of lawn.
Thank you for sharing this with people. Many seem to have forgotten that it is the migrants who do the labor-intensive work of picking the fruits and vegetables, as well as the grapes in the vineyards. I know because I have met many of them in different places. Canned vegetables won’t always be available.⚠️
Honey, that's a Fact! And if they're delusional enough not to be wary then that's their problem.
Love that neighbor as you live yourself.
Ahh you’re full of it - trump is doing the right thing and getting rid of the corrupt government and globalists trying to bring us down -
Less than 2 percent pick our crops but 69;percent on welfare and 95 percent of criminals arrested in California are illegals - do your research instead of listening to leftist propaganda
I never buy eggs, I use flax eggs, tofu, bananas or applesauce. There is a spice that tastes like eggs, it's called black salt, it makes tofu taste like eggs.
Why is it so hard to peel a farm fresh hard boiled egg. It’s frustrating
Boil your egg - then submerge in ice water for several minutes. Put it back in boiling water for about 20 seconds & then peel. The temperature shock separates the egg from the shell.
Add 1tsp of vinegar, soak in cold water.
@@fireofevender5515Really fresh eggs are harder to peel when boiled because the membrane still sticks to the shell. Use eggs a few days to a week old and after boiling quickly put the in an ice bath.
I've heard you can make an egg substitute with chia seeds.
Wish i could find postem !
What about scarcities in non-food products?
All intentional.
I would have more trust if he would not say "and trust me" so often...otherwise pretty informative video
Breastfeeding!!!❤ Now, more than ever!😊
According to supply chain experts starting in February 2025, we will not be able to easily get: 1) Fresh berries 2) Tomato products - Buy seeds and grow your own tomatoes in your kitchen window sill 3) Baby formula - well new mothers need to start breast feeding again 4) Rice- I do like my rice, but, I can easily eat wheat or farina for breakfast 5) Butter- I need to be on a butter free diet anyway 6) Coffee Beans- So, we can all drink tea now 7) Eggs - Bird flu and heat at poultry farms 8) Wine and Spirits due to glass manufacturing I can live without these things for 4 years, because I will vote in 2028 (for whoever the other Democratic guy is, it can be Mickey Mouse, Felix the Cat or Popeye the Sailor Man- they got my vote). And your egg freezing trick does work. I have done it before. Thanks for your video. I did enjoy it. ( I thought meat, such as chicken and beef would be in a shortage, so I figured it was time for my family and myself to be vegetarian.)
Some women don’t have enough breast milk or can’t stay home all day and night or pack baby to McDonald’s or nursing homes and breastfeed on demand. Formula is extremely important even if you make your own and store it.
Agreed on voting. Trump won with 31% of the vote because 74 million stupid lazy Americans didn’t bother to vote. Although Greg pallast did expose over 4 million voters were illegally purged and or given provisional ballots which were thrown out in five states.
Hydroponics are the future.
@@kikigirlkauai you can try goat milk as a sub.
Canned meats are good...like chicken, beef stew, spam, roast beef...
Geee 3 guesses who to blame!!!
Wine comes in a box now.
Before covid i got small eggs for like $1.50 today i saw some for $10.oo😮wth
Have my own hens.
Maybe because the coupon collectors have grabbed it all
Or the lack
Of workers to
Pick the crops due to deportations !
Thanks for trying to scare people for profits.
