For me it’s not just the level of genius of how these things are made but the complete awe for the people that developed these machines to make it possible
I love how it's made! I have watched this show every night for the past 26 years. I have learned so many things, and even though i re watch the episodes often, i still learn something new. Thank You!
I love these How It's Made videos, what I would love to see is the making of the machines that make these products, masterminds creating these machines.
Yeah but that won't happen. Most of these machines are the main thing that give whatever is being made a particular shape or texture. Companies will not share that.
I worked in food manufacturing, most of the equipment is special made or it’s been frankensteined into what it currently is. If you google “ industrial [insert equipment application here]” you will find the industrial equipment and manufacturer! So it’s not as secret as you’d think.
So for instance you could look up “ industrial dough cutter” and Colborne would pop up because they manufacture that type of equipment and you can most likely find their showcase videos on their website. As an added bonus anyone can purchase this type of equipment as long as you have the money!
@Ukie88 careful, your ignorance is showing. You were either harmed by one of these at some point in your childhood (forced to eat fig cookies perhaps?) Or you just like being a troll. Either way... stfu. You're literally just copy/pasting the same response to multiple comments. Go crawl back into your mom's basement. I know the sunlight burns, precious. Worked at nissan factory for instant noodles. My uncle was the sanitation supervisor, he purposly put me inside the tanks even though i was the biggest guy there.. but sanitation is crazy. Not only did we have to clean the inside of the tanks by hand but every nick and cranny on the outside of the machine as well. Although noodles are not as dirty as most of these machines,, it does seem like that job was very good with sanitation.. some of these videos showimg there machines are way worse looking then what we went through but id assume about the same.. sorry for responding to your comment just figured maybe a little insight on some places that actually do keep there machines clean...
Wow, this 2-hour mega food mix is absolutely fascinating! The behind-the-scenes look at how these mouthwatering creations are made is both mesmerizing and educational. The Science Channel really nailed it with this one-perfect for foodies and curious minds alike!
Not gonna lie Science Channel, I’ve been watching How It’s Made since a billion years ago, but ‘Fig Newtons’ and ‘mouth watering’ are two terms I never thought I’d see in one thumbnail. Gobbless
@Ukie88 so, Oh Enlightened One, care to share your insightful wisdom with the rest of us ignorant peasants? Because those sure af look like food to me... and taste like it too! Just because it's mass-produced doesn't mean it isn't food. Tastes good, has significant caloric value, is safe for consumption (e.g. won't poison you)... meets all the criteria to be called food. Maybe not HEALTHY food, but food nonetheless. So... care to try again?
great video, really enjoyed the insights into food science! but honestly, mixing so many flavors together kinda makes me wonder if we're losing the essence of individual dishes. like, sometimes less is more, you know?
Yo! So I got very hungry watching this so I made a quick batch of brown butter chockie chip cookies and when I went to put them into the oven I pushed a little dimple into the top real shallow and filled it with a little flick of butter then baked them. I grew up with a mother who really didn't cook. We were pretty poor. I learned how to make eggs by the age of 5. When my parents divorced, I got a new grandma, and she would, and she would make Sunday breakfast that included gravy. She taught me how to make it.
