Wow! Fantastic models, fantastic flying, fantastic landings. I was a passenger in the super Connie between Port Moresby PNG, and Brisbane Qld in my early childhood days when I went to boarding school. Great memories - it's a very graceful plane
Excellent piloting and 'greaser' landings in what appears to be breezy conditions by both aircraft! Was fortunate to get a ride in a Dragon in New Zealand back in the 80's. I was amazed at how it appeared to levitate off the ground. Have never flown in a Constellation, but did get to walk through one under restoration in Arizona. It was an 049 version; which I believe had the most beautiful proportions of the series.
When I was a youngster, there was a hobby shop where I lived that had a control line Connie hanging from the ceiling. Never heard it run or saw it fly. They’re long closed down now, but I always wondered what happened to it.
Wonderful builds and skill flying them. Years ago when I was a kid in Houston, Texas ( 62 or 63') you could see a Connie on approach or departure from Hobby Airport/ Ellington Field about every 30 minutes. \ The whole town was "The Space Race", and many people came and went We called them flying boxcars.
Fantastic models of these elegant and beautiful flying machines. Thanks for the video.
Beautiful aircraft. I was a passenger in a Dragon Rapide in the late 1950’s Flew from Elstree to the Scilly Isles. Landed in thick fog at Exeter.

What great planes.
My first ever flight was in a Rapide late 50's round Blackpool Tower !
The first plane is a true gem
