- well I received this new 2021 icebear Hawkeye 150cc scooter 3 days ago I took my time reassembling it today it is complete so I wanted to vlog my first ride experience with it I uploaded raw footage no editing I wanted to give my subscribers and viewers my 100% reaction, thoughts of my first ride with my 150cc scooter!😁👍 p.s sorry kachiskid I accidentally called my 50cc scooter Hope in this video I had you on my mind during the making of this video !😁👍
Yes the 150cc are better , better at traffic as well. No problem keeping up in the streets with traffic. I owe one myself n proud of it. I'm 300lbs n that thing handles me with easy. Mines a Icebear 2020 q6 trike 157qmj
These ice bear scooters are really nice and powerful way more torque power to climb overpasses unlike the 49cc scooter I have yesterday I went on the freeway stood on there for maybe 2 miles she did really good !😁👍

Thats the best most reliable bike you can get for $1500. Just ordered my second lancer the first one was perfect from the factory never had a single problem with it it always idled and ran perfectly did 65mph.

I like that you can put your feet flat on the floor or up on the sides. I'm going to have to check out more of these Icebear scooters. I was looking at a Vitacci Tank but there's no room to move your feet or legs. That's just begging for leg cramps.

I got lucky. I finally convinced my friend to sell back to me my former Kymco Grand Vista scooter. So now I can stop searching all those different Chinese scooters and enjoy riding again on a big comfortable scooter.

My scooter gets 103 miles to the gallon. The highest speed I had it up to is 59 mph. I weigh 183 lb. If you remember I have the Zuma 125 cc. I like your scooter. God bless!

Update: I got my scooter about 4 months ago and I literally rode it everywhere!! To work and all!! I’ve put a lil over 750 miles on it! The fastest I’ve gone is 55 I’m too scared to go any faster lol but I adore it and it’s doing a great job for me!!!! Highly recommend!!

Watching your video looking to upgrade I got 50cc scooter need upgrade to a 150cc been doing uber-eat love that it cheap in gas and can park it pretty much anywhere but it lacking power it struggle going up small hills but it not bad if leave on a flat surface

Many years ago I bought a new gy6 150 and it came jetted so lean from the factory it would actually cut out at full throttle. But it was so long ago I don't remember the size of the jet I used, but going bigger did fix it. And you can get a backfire from a lean fuel condition, so I think you're on the right track. Do you remember how many turns you had to turn the screw to get it to idle smoothly? Also, you may want to check the carb needle valve. Sometimes you can set the valve if it isn't already set to allow more fuel into the jet. So try that first.
Also I should mention that you may find your stock carb doesn't have slotted screws to take it apart, sort of like a tamper-proof deal. Idk what they are shipping them out with these days but I've run into them. I just used a hacksaw to cut slots in them and that worked fine but you can always get an aftermark carb if you don't want to do that.

Thank you for the compliment of my scooter , I purchased it from WWW.Q9POWERSPORTSUSA.COM I've seen guys weighing 350lbs riding a 150cc scooter but the manual says weight complicity limit is 320 lbs I weigh 215lbs and have given a ride of a person weighing 140lbs & scooter handled it with no problem then I put 415 lbs combined weight me and a 200 lb passenger the scooter did great still taking off with ease and gaining top speed of 45-47 mph with me alone it maxed out at 54 mph so yeah a 150cc will do you bro

Thanks mate I finally figured it out the scooter was tipped topside causing the shipping oil to spill in her airbox after cleaning up the airbox and air filters plus installing a brand new carburetor shes running really good now !😁👍

That red light is the low oil light. That shouldn't be coming on unless your oil is low.
That orange engine light is for the fuel injected models now being sold in Europe.
Check all your bulbs including dash, if its not a bulb out warning light it's likely the manufacturer just wired it as a brake light as your bike as you know has a carb and it doesn't need an engine light.
The first version of this bike was sold in the UK as the Lexmoto Gladiator back in 2011, its one of Lexmotos longest models as its sold as the fuel injected Titan today. Must be pretty decent or they would have canned it a long time ago if the model was a dud. Plus there are still quite a few Gladiators for sale in the classifieds so they are lasting.

@@GY6-SCOOTERS Haa, yeah weird right? Like I said check for any blown bulbs and if you don't have any I guess it's a strange quirk of the bike. I'd tape it as I bet its annoying at night
That sucker is moving! Idle should be around 2200-2600RPM. Your jetting will be difficult to call seeing your in Cali. I would get a 26mm carb. because most likely that carb. is going to be sealed. Pay no more than $25-30 for it. That brake light is trippy. Check your exhaust bolts all the time!

That bike is the same as the taotao lancer eagle it has the most powerful 150cc gy6 engine with 10hp.
It might be hard to get that bike in Cananada-may have to go Piaggio.

The Hawkeye comes with glove box storage and key ,under the seat storage with key , and storage box in back also with key

That was the same scooter I was wanting to buy for myself but they said it's not legal for California residents..☹ gosh a whole year is a very long time to be waiting I purchased my 50cc last year in 2020 and my 150cc in this year 2021 through 2 different companies they both took 70-80 days to be delivered I hope you receive your scooter soon I know how stressful it is to be waiting on something that seems it's taking way to long to come especially after spending a grand or more is the company giving you updates

I just ordered my Ice Bear Hawk and they told me it will ship with shipping oil and to replace the oil before my first ride. They said 10-30 but so did you have to do the gear oil at all? Never bought a bike brand new before
Hello Johnny, congratulations on your purchase of a wonderful scooter 😁👍 yeah the retail store is right about switch out the fluids as soon as you receive your scooter ,well before you start her up and take off for a ride .
These scooters come shipped with clear generic fluids not brand named so we dont know the quality of it alot of people road with the shipping oil and had to find out the hard way . I recommend you to simply watch youtube videos on how to perform an oil change on your gy6 150cc scooter both oil & gear oil ok .
I live here in California and I use 10/40 weight being your scooter is brand new go with non synthetic because synthetic will be way to slippery you rather use regular conventional motor oil to break in your engine at this vital stage its important to use regular motor oil it will be better and allow your inner engine components to make its groves for the first 300 miles ride ride variable speeds dont just go full throttle for a long time until you break in your engine ok after 500 miles of different variable speeds ride it like you want to at least this is how I broke in my engines.
You'll always here how to break in a scooter engine differently from one person to the next . Just remember to do a fluid change on your new scooter and ride variable speeds hitting full throttle for a couple minutes then back to lower rpms once you get at 300 kilometers start going on more open throttle rides
Thing is got mine running out of box but there is a dead spot when I go to give it gas and wants to die.Looking for a replacement carb.then the vacuum line.was.hooked.up.wrong on the petcock

try changing the needle height in the diaphram to adjust the rich and lean mixture !.😃
I found the problem it was tipped over during shipping causing all its shipping oil to end up inside its airbox I ended up putting on a new airbox and air filter along with a new carb shes running good now ....😁👍

Yeah that orange light comes on everytime I use the breaks I first thought I must need break fluid..but it was topped off when I checked so it must be a indicator to let you know that breaks are being applied..?🤔 nice name you came up with to name your scooter after your moms name that was nice of you bro ..!🙂🙏👍

I purchased this 150cc from a online retailer called Q9POWERSPORTSUSA I ended up waiting like 3 months because I bought on preorder meaning the scooter was out of stock and they were waiting on a new shipment to arrive in another online retailer I purchased from was SAFERWHOLESALES.COM I purchased a 50cc scooter back in july of 2020 from them it also took roughly 3 months the experience I had from these two online retailers are customer services was way better with Q9POWERSPORTSUSA they always answered the phones to their customers and emails as well unlike saferwholesales.com they are kind while making the purchase but afterwards good luck getting ahold of any info about your scooter your sitting in the dark I was real happy when my purchase from them arrived I thought I was getting ripped off

Come to find out my scooter was tipped over during shipping causing the oil to soak out my air box got into the carb as well so I called up the place I purchased it from they sent me a new carb , new airbox and filter she rides perfectly now

Roughly 80 mpg on the 150cc and 100 mpg on 50cc scooter
I just received my Hawkeye 150cc, I cannot get it to start, battery has no action after charge and fill and now won’t even kick start. I’m tired of trouble shooting it
Don't despair, there's a couple tricks you can try to get some signs of life out of it, which will motivate you to track down whatever the problem is. The first thing I suggest is trying to kick start it with the battery disconnected. Make sure the key is on and one of the brake levers is pulled and try it, but if it starts don't leave it running with the battery disconnected, hook it back up (I do it while it's running) I've seen this work on my own scooter when the battery was dead) If that doesn't help, you need to verify for sure there is fuel to the carb and if there is I would advise checking for spark to make sure you are getting power to the ignition. I don't know what your level of mechanical ability is so if you need help with those things don't be afraid to ask. These really aren't hard to get going, you just have to take it one step at a time.
These ice bear scooters will not start if you have the side kick stand out must be on center stand or sit on it with no stand at all also be sure to hold in your hand break leaver k
