Nice review. On bayang/silverware you can setup autobind by pitch up-up-up, the leds on the quad flash, then down-down-down to save. After that the quad should bind automatically everytime.
Mine works great. I have to bind my Whoop Lite FC every time. I've been using my Bayang BetaFPV transmitter and doing the left,left,down W/right stick and center left for acro mode. ( · --.)

One thing you got to remember is just because you can select 200mw doesn't mean your video transmitter will actually produce 200mw. If you're having a hard time with video, it can be configured & checked, You can use Betaflight and use the video transmitter tab for many other models. The brushed 65 this is not an option.
I'm trying to figure out if mine shipped broken. Switch B seems to have no effect. Its stays in "Acro" (I see 'acro' in the googles) mode no matter what. I'm a total novice and finding it impossible to control in Acro. After a crash the throttle has no effect, I have to hit the disarm switch. Very advice on the product on the internet. Any help much appreciated.

That flicker is normal. This is old fashioned analog video. It's how your great grandparents used to watch tv. But it has an advantage over clear digital video. Although scratchy, you get a video image at greater distance. Digital may go blank, causing a crash. That's why most FPV racers still use analog (although digital is getting better, and is the future).
@@Quadcopter101 Now I'm confused. The USB port is what I use for the simulator games. The headphone Jack is what I use for trainer use. Am I missing something?
I've not been able to connect my computer to the USB port. It only seems to charge my battery. But I have been able to connect my simulator programs through the headphone jack using a simulator dongle. It's PPM isn't it? So I think that the jack should also work as a trainer port?

No, as discussed in the video at 12:40, the radio that comes with the starter kit is Bayang protocol only. If you want the Frsky multi protocol, you have to purchase it separately. I went to their website, and I didn't see any mention of the multi protocol version being shipped with the starter kit?
I love my brushed silverware whoops but I don't even bother flying this thing indoors because it's way too easy to want to let her rip well beyond my house flying skills and oh yeah this little brushed beast is super zippy if you cut loose outdoors especially with a 250 or a 260mah or I will even run a 230 HV pack for ultra hyper aggressive yet agile handling and speed it can ride a decent wind with ease where my other pitch limited house whoops struggle. It's got the speed you need but I'm not sure if its the NotFastEnough version though like my armor 65 lite is and which I feel has a better range compared to the Beta 65s lite with its proneness to interference but the Beta 65's video signal is cleaner than the armor 65 lite.
Really u love it, check this fc betafpv brushed v2.0 ...its very suck, the firmware after 2020/12...check osd only shown starter/advance menu, cant setting pid , etc...and i try rollback to previous firmware , then i get my defect fc....

Sorry for your luck. At least you didn't buy a BetaFPV HX100 3S and not get it to bind with a transmitter that is suppose to bind with it. I'm flying 3 & 4S quads now. If you like BetaFPV (I still do) I recommend the brushless Meteor Meteor75 or the Beta85. FRSKY D8 or D16 SPI receivers bind with their other transmitter. I don't use any of that now. I'm all about Fatshark Attitude V6 Goggles, Jumper T12 Pro transmitter and toothpick quads now.

Sounds like you're flying in Acro mode. That's for experts. As a new FPV flier, you should be flying in Angle mode. Watch the above video. It will show you how to switch your drone to Angle mode.
I just got the kit but the goggles dont seem to be working. All I see is a grey background with the menu, but no video. Can anyone help if they had similar problems?
You may be in AV mode (for playback of recorded video). To switch between AV and RF mode, press and hold the Search button for three seconds. You want to be in RF mode, with a scratchy grey background (not solid).

I'd have to agree with you. When you do a quick press of the scan button, do you notice it scanning through the channels? You should see numbers changing rapidly in the upper left corner of the screen.

I tried it, both with the drone bound to the controller, and after a fresh restart. It doesn't seem to work.

The headphone jack on the TX is a trainer / student feature.

The new BetaFPV starter kit lite radio 2 SE is not multi receiver protocol compatible! As claimed online. The time of purchase was 1/25/2021
