I’ve had this for a few months, it’s a ton of fun to fly, I’ve crashed it at full speed into concrete walls and it still works great. Only issue is the range like you said, but for the size and form factor, I can’t complain too much, it’s fun to zip around the house/apartment/backyard

Newbie question: the range problem is because of the drone receiver and thus still worth it as a “beginner” set for the goggles to be paired with other drones?
i recently got the "starter kit2" and love it!
mine loses bind sometimes but its a ez fix...just keep inkpen handy lol!

Hello!I agree with you, the emax remote is not great, but the emax drone is a real pleasure. I can't wait for my frsky x-lite s and the meteor 75 😁 I just had a mobula 6 and its not easy to fly this after tinyhawk 2 (is going sow fast)but I love it.

i wish they would have set it up for arm disarm like they did.... the oppiste side in the back be just turtle mode then a three way be acro level and horizon... then another with their goofy race modes
I burnt a motor the first day I got it. I think it hit something and I didn't disarm it in time and their was a burning smell coming from on motor. I just ordered another Meteor75.

Can you confirm that the Radio Lite 2 that comes in the kit is the FrSky version? I heard the ones that come in the kits do not do D8 therefore limiting its future versatility.
It is D8 and frsky. I have used it with other D8 quads
I prefer and recommend Herizon mode for the FPV newbie that has already been flying line of sight and with auto level.
It has me near flying in acro mode.
Race H helps me keep the video smooth forward flight.
There is also acro trainer
@@HalfChrome yep. I paid for the full version of Freerider and Betaflight VTX Config.
The major difference between acro and auto level is turning.
I'm still getting used to pitching the roll stick the opposite direction of yaw. I still find myself trying to correct it and ending up in a out of control spin dive or upside down and landing on my head. Lol, not as much as when I started, but still have a little trouble remembering sometimes.
The simulator is cool when using a real transmitter.
Simulators are a great way to learn
Update: I figured out what happened. I was using a different stick configuration than the standard U.S. config. Yeah, flight simulators are great... As long as you are not using a stick configuration foreign to your standard preference.

Hey, do you know why every time after i calibrate my emax ez pilot and i have to arm it, it just goes back to calibration mode? (After i armed it , the light didn't blink fast ) I have to calibrate again and arm it again, if it didnt connect, i repeat the process until it blinking fast

Hey i just got my emax ez pilot as my first drone as a beginner because of you, but im having issue with my drone, after i charged the battery and play with the drone, it work well but after some seconds later the drone wont go up instead it just keep hovering on the ground, i can still control it but it wont go up, do you whats wrong and how to fix it? (My suspect is because the battery is weak after second playing so it cant power up the drone but idk im a newbie and dont know anything)
Sounds like the battery to me. Make sure it’s fully charged. It should show voltage in your goggles. Should start out around 4.2 and fly to around 3.5

Half Chrome it has to be luck - most reviewers mention the motors are soldered onto the board... mine are connected by the connectors :(

Emax does come with 2 antennas you just got a messed up package
I have the betafpv advanced kit 2 and it stopped working two batteries in. Very disappointing. Getfpv is working with me one returning the kit and getting a new one.
Got an Emax Tinyhawk 2 kit and it stopped working four batteries in (ESC doesn't work for a motor, even replaced it (the motor) before discovering that the original motor worked fine in other slots...). :/
@@GerardAtTube thats generally a pretty solid little unit.... grab up a new esc and let it rip.... or maybe contact whom you bought it from and maybe they can help you with a replacement

@@HalfChrome Not this time tho : they cusually told me to buy another 80$ ESC board. 250$+batteries+2motors in this for maybe 45 minutes total flight time, I'm feeling very disappointed. Would NOT recommend at all.

Nope. Very different. Same color though.
I have both and the Mavic mini is much smaller but made pretty much the same and practically the same color.
I recently got the EMAX Pilot kit, Goggles have great reception until the drone motors start and then it looses the channel, every time. Any ideas on what the problem is please?
You are not on the correct channel

You said the betafpv has one fatal flaw and you still picked it over the tinyhawk. Confusing. Why recommend a drone with such awful range?
The Tinyhawk range is better for sure. However the remote and goggles on the Tinyhawk are worse. The remote specifically is terrible. BETAFPV components are better and could be used with other drones. Easy upgrade

I had the worst experience with betafpv and a defective kit. Eventually got a refund but it was like pulling teeth. Do yourself a favor and build your own with a jumper, fatshark, and the quad of the month.
