Thanks for this but how do you search for the specific icon you want? like the way you searched for the person icon. Also, is there a way to save these icons on figma or do I need to copy the link everytime I want to use it.
@@ArnauRos Yeah. I will also like an answer to this. There was a search bar on the right where you typed in the icon you wanted. How did you get that search bar to come up?
@@ArnauRos In the same way you can add a link to a section of text. Can you make the icons or an image a link. Think of clicking the twitter icon and it taking you to twitter for example.
Have you used any of these Icon sets before?
I have been using icons from Iconify and it is really helpful.
Thanks for sharing that Material Design Library
I love this I would love to find some awesome icons for my iphone these are just awesome
Super cool, love the material design library!
Its one of the best there is!
I really like this video, but how do we remove the outline around icons, so only the icon shows?
Thank you for the share !!
The icons you used in the thumbnail are more good looking from where you got them ?

Where do you type in the icon that you are looking for? I can not find the search bar
Not sure what you mean here, could you explain more?
@@ArnauRos I think he wants to know how to search for a specific icon. where is the search bar?
@@ArnauRos Yeah. I will also like an answer to this. There was a search bar on the right where you typed in the icon you wanted. How did you get that search bar to come up?
Just add an component (Shift+I) and in the new component search for the component type, when clicking it will open the Swap instance option
Very informative, thanks for sharing
Thanks Sujith!
thanks 🙂
i just started to learn figma and i think this is so helpfull. thank ya
Glad it was helpful!
Is it better to use the Icon Files and paste into your local files every time - so you can swap them out, and for design system documentation?
If you find a icon set you really like you can create a ‘team library’ and use those components in that way!
only one thing: im not understanding why these guys aren't drawing icons within the live area of 20x20dp?
YEAH BUT HOW DO YOU DOWNLOAD... IT'S LIKE REALLY COMPLICATED. I CAN'T FIND THE DOWNLOAD LINK.
Check the description :)
Thanku soo much
Thanks for watching! Which of these was your favorite icon set?
what about flaticon?
also good!
is there a way to make the icons link to a external page? like a text link
not sure what you mean here

you don't tell us how you download and import files into figma :(
If you duplicate the project in Figma you can find it in your home tab, you should have all your files there :)
Tried the Material design icons plugin, seems to give svg or png at random, no way to choose as the drop down is broken. Really not impressed at all
Seems like they might have changed the app since I last reviewed it!
Wow
