Is it a panzerfaust? That freezing water makes me cringe when I think of a tragedy that happened last week to my friends 11 year old son and 10 year old nephew who both just drowned in a freezing river here in the U.S.
The mind numbing pain of millions of icy needles piercing ones skin is ingrained in me as a kid playing in freezing weather of New England and slipping into the lakes and rivers of winter. Great finds. Please take care around the freezing waters, although the authorities recovered my friends son quickly, they only just discovered his nephew yesterday, almost a week after the icy river claimed their lives. Tragedy holds our hand some days.

Thanks for the videos and yes I did take notice of your comments about costs increasing so have just upped my Patreon a level, every little helps :-) Would be super to see some more Drone shots though as I love how this lets you see the overall layout of the bunkers and get into the architects mind when they were working out the firing arcs. But understand not so easy on windy days or hard to get to sites. All the best from Belgium. (And yes listen to your daughter :-)

Waders a grapple hook and maybe one of the long reach tools the make for old folks (would’ve worked great for that plate!) I carry one every time I go fishing in the kayak I pick up mostly garbage with mine but I have retrieved a few lures too.
This video was awesome, thanks brother 👍🏻

@@WW2HistoryHunter I really love your channel. WW2 history has been an interest of mine since I was a little boy. Thank you for going out there and preserving history for future generations. WW2 was a pivotal moment in world history. I can tell you have a great deal of respect for the fallen soldiers and the sites that you visit, and I really appreciate that. Thank you again for this channel, and for preserving the artifacts for this and future generations.

The long piece that was attached to the MG box looks like a magazine coupler, either to store two boxes side to side, or maybe two flak mags... For reference, look at modern rifle magazine couplers

You'll be happy to know that when i go magnet fishing
along the Detroit River for knives and guns I throw back
either if it is too small. Like a Colt New Frontier .22 LR
or the stock only that allowed shoulder fire of a Heckler
    & Koch VP-70.

Amazing finds at this location. You bring your waders and come back please. Who knows, it may be the mobile gun pushed off in there when they ran out of ammo! Could be a whole Panzer. Bring an submarine camera for this location. Great video, can't wait to see what you pull in next.👍
