Hi Cecelia! Do you even realize how accurate and mathematically understandable your instructions are? You choose the right set of vocabulary to describe the steps. As such I love art. And now I love your way of explaining the procedure. Thanks
Thank you so much for giving me a huge smile today, sindhuja Govindarajan! Hahaha, I actually think about WHAT to say and HOW to say it, for a very long time before I do a project. I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed my way of describing quilling and I look forward to seeing more of your comments on my channel!
Thanks so much Van! Unfortunately I don’t have any so far. However I did quill a card with music notes years ago. Perhaps it might inspire you to look at it here on my blog: paperzen.blogspot.com/2009/06/quilled-thank-you-cards.html?m=1
Another great video..with easy instructions...love watching you work...I have learned so much from you as I continue to learn this craft...thank you for the free template...
Hi Mini, you're very welcome! You can also use yogurt lids or plastic from food packaging such as pre-washed salad. I just use whatever is on hand, and try it out.
Hi Mini, I would suggest that you watch the first video in this series here: Quilling Letter A - How to Outline - Quilling Tutorial and Template th-cam.com/video/hi2ZEn5Ikco/w-d-xo.html To fold the letter, I use the pre-measured patterns in my e-book, Quilling Letters. It’s available in my Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/ca/listing/555047060/quilling-letters-26-patterns-and?ref=shop_home_feat_1
Thanks Suzanne! Great question. Sometimes I'll draw something and trace my drawing with my paper, then measure the paper. Sometimes I'll start quilling and like what I see and then I have to figure out the lengths afterwards by tracing my quilling, since I can't unglue it all at that point. Lots of back and forth! It definitely helps to use a millimetre ruler instead of inches.
