I've made quilling letters before. I did one with quilling on the inside and one with on edge quilling flowers on the outside. I really like yours because they look simple but classy. Also I know that simple does not mean easy... lol. I've been quilling for about a year and I also find that I'm still trying to determine my style. I love several quillers who I follow on TH-cam and learn little bits from each. The best thing I've learned from you, (and I've learned a lot,) was to use very little glue and smearing it flat like that. I put mine on the inside of a sour cream lid. I like it because the dried up glue peels off easily and if it gets scratched up from me pulling off the dry glue, I can just get another one lol. If I need to put something with glue on it under the edge of a strip that is already partially glued down, I usually use a scrap of card stock paper. I love the idea of how to make stars. That's gonna be fun! I also like the negative space thing with the K. I am watching each letter video one at a time, even though I feel I can make the letters, but I watch for all the extra little goodies you teach in each one. Thank you! Also love your calming voice. Very relaxing to watch.
You are an amazing articulate teacher. Your demonstration with explanation are very helpful and encouraging to try my hand at doing this technique Thank you so much for your videos
Thank you SO much Suz! That’s wonderful to hear my tutorials are helpful! I have many free templates to help you with your quilling on my site. Have fun exploring!
having trouble to make borders ...and u really gave me a fantastic idea of seamless borders..tahnks..ur works arecreally outstanding...very profeasionally made
Hahhahahhaa I’ve been told that but I can assure (and reassure you) it took me MANY years to gain this skill. Trust me - you improve with every project.
Your quilling typography videos are the the best I've found, primarily because your technique is wonderful (e.g. scoring the design, applying glue with a card, and aligning edges with a needle) and I love the little tips (e.g. using Post-Its). My experiments so far mainly show that I need more practice, but your work provides plenty of inspiration. Thanks!
Hey Roy, thank you so much for making my day!!! So happy to hear my little tips are helpful to you in your quilling. How long have you been quilling? Cecelia
I've been crafting with paper my whole life but I'm just a novice with quilling. Most of my work has been with origami and/or digital cutter. I got interested in quilling after discovering Yulia Brodskaya's work, and eventually that led me to you. This Christmas card from a few years ago is my only quilling design to date: photos.app.goo.gl/X21gwpx5z4pHZtbG9
Sorry to hear it didn’t work Nancy - not sure what happened with the tech there. If you send me your email address I can manually send it to you. Glad you liked my tutorial! 😄
Much love and thanks being sent to you Laurie - thank you for showing me how much my efforts are appreciated!!! You seriously help to keep me going. When can I see what you've made?
Paper Zen - Cecelia Louie - i started quilling last Halloween looking for something new to do. I bought a bunch of books, including yours, and have been practicing almost daily. I’m still trying to figure out my “style”.
That's great to hear you've found something that gives you so much joy. I'm honoured that my book was among your bunch. I think your "style" just comes around on its own. Once you've done something long enough, you suddenly want to do something similar but different, and then you realize its very distinctive.

I haven't yet, but will after watching yo with this one.
Looking forward to seeing what you make Connie!
Awesome thank you my teacher . May I ask is that job helpful to make it in birthdays as a small project or just decor ?
You're welcome Sway. My quilled letters are appropriate for both birthday cards and room decor. The size can be enlarged because it's a PDF pattern.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍
Thank you Raquel! Are you new to quilling?

Canson Mi-Tientes. You can find more information in the links below the videos.
could put a thin razor blade under the frame corners so you don't have to worry about cutting too deep
Entertaining Videos - sure, that could work too

I'm using Canson Mi-Teintes paper. I also list more details in the notes below the videos.
Have you ever tried quilling on a dark background? If so, how did it turn out?
Learning so much from your videos. You’re very talented and a great teacher.
Thank you SO much for making my day Bonnie! I'm happy to hear you're enjoying my tutorials. Have you been quilling long?
