FIX!! FIAT Hymer Ducato 2.5TD oil pressure warning light switch not illuminating Talbot Express

A quick demonstration how to diagnose a faulty oil warning light.
It is imperative that the low warning oil light illuminates when the ignition is turned on, as if for some unexpected reason you spring an oil leak whilst driving, you can prevent engine damage by being warned.
The oil warning light should illuminate upon ignition switch on, then go out as soon as oil pressure is built up- usually almost instant.
I have shown the most common reasons for the light not functioning, if you have tried both methods and it still doesn’t work, then please get in touch and I will try to help with some further pointers.

Thanks I was hunting at the front of the engine around the filter/pump. Now all I need to do is crawl underneath and do the test!
