Great comment! Don't know if you realy want to make music with him, but this in "Santa Catarina Street, Porto, Portugal" He's probably a street artist who does this to make some bucks and will not see your comment unfortunately.
And good health to all of you who are listening to thisIt’s his interaction with the guitar that creates a resonance so filled with painful pleasure, it feels warm and hopeful, Whenever I return to watch the video it provokes a similar feeling to the brilliant word that the Portuguese language has for its speakers to express this type of feeling, this “ sodade” If indeed he is connecting with music he is playing as profoundly as the sounds that emitted from his instrumentation on that day, and he too feels this yawning beauty, this old pain, Then I can only wish that he continues in his search for vitality. Good health to you stranger
Ola pedro, Thank you for the link but I have already thoroughly enjoyed and listen to a lot of Carlos‘ music, it is however, these random special travelling musicians Who appear and disappear like the smoke of a fire or the mist of a morning seafront that are so beguiling. It’s also interesting to listen to the Music of the old Portuguese colonies such as, Goa and also even though it wasn’t capped by Portugal, the appropriation of the Portuguese guitar by the Filipino people with their “Manila guitar “ Warmth to you Pedro Gonçalves
Marta Brito-Martins why would it be unfortunate? Now, I know that I will have to learn this amazing instrument in its spectacularly beautiful hometown:) doesn’t sound so unfortunate

Do you know where I can find sheet music for this music?

Parabens, que musica é essa?

Carlos Paredes - Canto de Amor. ;)
Not one single person gave this great person one cent. Everyone passed by him and didn't even offer him anything to eat. Que vergonha!
Who is this playing, if you read this, wherever you are… I want to make music with you

Warmth to you Pedro Gonçalves
can classic guitar players also play the Portuguese guitar, or does it require special education
No, unfortunately it takes practice and classes. Sorry... ;-(
Marta Brito-Martins why would it be unfortunate? Now, I know that I will have to learn this amazing instrument in its spectacularly beautiful hometown:) doesn’t sound so unfortunate
No. If you have the will you can learn by yourself... I did it by myself too. No problem.
It's the second option. But with hard work u can do it by yourself.
Easily. What he is playing here is single notes supported by open tuning. Any player of any type of guitar could do this with a few minutes practice.
A música portuguesa está no topo 🇵🇹😊:
