So I've watched this video 2 days ago and I had to search back to find it so I could say thank you for the helpful tips you gave on this video. I signed up for doordash 5 days ago and I've been so nervous to start dashing because I didn't know how things would go. If it would be hard or not, but taking your steps was way easier than I thought and I just did my first 4 orders on doordash. Again thanks to you my friend. I’m here because I just started yesterday but only did one delivery because I didn’t know how the Doordash App works. Just found out I have to turn off my WiFi because I was missing a lot of orders🤦🏻♀️ my sister is making so much money already!!

some customers are really dumb the dropoff message is for driver to find ur house but they put what they want about the food driver only can see that message after pick up the food usually at that time the driver was already in the car and start driving then they saw u require four extra hot sauce there is box below the food selection page that is the place to enter ur requirement about the food

This video was explained in great detail. I have been hesitant to start DoorDash because it’s one of those jobs where yeah it’s easy to pick up an order and drop off but I’m sure there are complex orders too. Watching your videos have helped me relaxed.
Thank you Kim!! 😊 The nice thing is that you always have the ability to contact customer support and they can help you with the issues that come up. I've done about 200 deliveries and so far haven't had any major issues. For the most part it's pretty easy 😊 you wil do great!

The fact that some of these apps have drivers placing orders is so ridiculous. Its 2019- there is no reason why customers cant place and pay for there orders in advance.

Curious after 1 week of dash how did it go? I am in between starting Dash or Postmates. But I think I will give door dash a try first

Thank you, well my first day doing DD Didn’t start off too bad and my first delivery was pretty easy but my second delivery was a disaster because I could not find the place to pick up the food at and ended up giving it up to someone else but after that it wen t smooth and I got In 5 deliveries so I think I had a pretty good progressive night.

Just a tip: be careful when checking off items before you double check with the restaurant. I checked off an item that was never in the bag, turns out the restaurant didn’t show that item on their end. Come to find out DD was trying to ADD at the last minute! Luckily she never got charged!..it was s mess, but I felt bad because I’m sure the hot dog was for her kid🤦🏽♀️

can you make a good earnings at DD? or it depends which city you are in?
How can you check if you have all the food in the bag or if nothin is missing when some restaurants seal the bag before they give it to the dasher?

I HAD ALL type of orders, first they didnt have the drink the customer ordered, ans I had to text them. The next one I had to place the order at the spot and pay w the card. Orders where ok I guest..Thanks a lot .

I love these videos! I was so stressed out when you kept getting orders. LOL Many years ago I did a little side hustle where I answered calls for QVC at home and one night I just kept getting call after call and I couldn't log out and my baby was screaming to be fed. Good times.

Problem I run into while dashing is that you can check the order and everything may look right on the receipt and from cashier but the restaurant may have substituted something in a wrap or covered platter and unless you physically open the persons food wrapper which is wrong on so many levels you will get a negative review. Plus you never know why you get a bad review.
I don't like the rating system 😔 it makes it hard sometimes because things that aren't your fault will lower your rating. It stinks! I hope that someday they change it or find a way for food mistakes to not affect our score because you are so right that items in closed packages we just have to trust it's right since we can't see it!
Kristina Lynn - I use door dash a lot and every time I go into the app it asks me to rate the restaurant and the delivery. If something is wrong with the food that should be on the restaurant not the dasher. I only ever give less than 5 stars if the driver is more than 10 minutes late without explaining why.
You don't need to open nobody's food tf
next time when u get the order u need to open the food and taste it to make sure it taste good because no matter what is wrong about the food the dumb customer will give u a bad rating
@@HeartyHeartt that's the point, sometimes restaurants sub out different things and there is no way to check that since you obviously can't just open the food.
You should do a video in how to order food from door dash, I’m very interested

It depends. Usually they have it all packaged together though 😊
