Far from what you'd expect to hear from Welk, but not complaining!
Great music 🎶
Bravo,sjajno!
Pete Fountain played with Lawrence for about 2 years then went on his own and the rest is history as they say lol.
Is there a musicians list? The clarinet is reminiscent of Fazola or Pete Fountain. Bob Havens present?
Bob joined in 1960.
@@bernardflegar8017 Thanks for that, I have a recording of Bob playing magnificently in 1957 with New Orleans veterans. He was marvellous then too.
@@sammckinstry Totally agreed.
You're too right! Pete Fountain is featured on clarinet. If you skip to 15:42 you can read the back of album which mentions him.
George Thow & Clyde Hurley (trumpets), Moe Schneider & Bill Schaefer (trombones), Pete Fountain (clarinet), Stan Wrightsman (piano), George Van Epps (guitar), Phil Stevens (bass), Nick Fatool (drums)
