Very straight forward and easy to follow. Took me about an hour to install on my KTM 530 EXC. Highly recommend this product. My headlight no longer flickers.
Make sure you pay attention to the torque specification guys "Grabs drill,,,,,,, braaaaaaaaaaaaaap braaaaaaaaap braaaaaaaaap" lmao. I use these same torque specs myself.
Unfortunately you have to install stators that are designed for the bike you are putting them in. Many times the pit bikes are too small to have lighting capabilities. I would recommend getting something that runs off batteries. Something like out A122-SS-LB LED lights. They are made for helmets, but they have a 7/8 inch and an 1 1/8 inch handle bar clamps included.
I notice that there is engine oil inside the casing that holds the stator, is that normal? I just bought a ktm520mxc 2002 and there was an oil leak coming from the stator casing because of a bad gasket, so I removed the stator cover and about a 1/2 cup of oil came out, but it was also in the upright position.
With the KTM four strokes there was a design change depending on the year from when they went from a dry system to an oil bath system. Unfortunately we do not have this information. I would recommend you contact a local KTM service center to get the information that you are looking for.
Do you guys do a complete Ignition kit for the KTM 530 exc-r or do I have to buy all the parts separately all the complete kits I have found say the don't suit the EXC-R 08 the kit you guys have on Ebay for the 530 says XC-W will it work on the Australian released EXC-R on your site to it says carbureted must use S-8360-A
