Great work mate, I've been doing Muay Thai for about 2 months now and it's absolutely amazing
Thanks for sharing this - as a karate (goju) practioner, looking for some cross training ideas, this is gold 👍
For extra damage, you MUST make sound effects. It is proven that a kiai or oui adds 50% more effect to any technique!
Love this!
Congrats and great work. Very inspirational. Do you still train goju ryu? Would you recommend goju for self-defense, or is something like Kyokushin or Muay Thai a better option?
For a tidbit, i read that old karate has shoulder strikes. They could be nice when done in the clinch.
I trained Uechi ryu and it is simular to Goju. It uses standing clinches. I've done judo and bjj and clinch fighting is a great strategy.
I had no idea you're in the Puget Sound! Did you study Goju out here, or somewhere else?
