Those borders were also unjust. They gave 50% of the land to 7% of the population.
The two state solution will not work as long as Zionism exists. Zionism from its beginning has been based on ethnically cleansing Palestine in order to establish "Eretz Israel (Greater Israel)", which supposedly is based on the Bible and would include parts of Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. What's need is one state which has equal rights for everyone. The Zionists would be voted out of office.

One state with freedom of movement and equal rights for all people. Jews and Muslims should be able to live in mixed communities across all of historic Palestine, and should be allowed to vote together for their collective interests.

I saw some weeks ago headlines, that Israelians been already selling estates from Gaza, that is probably (part of) reason why they demand 20% of Gaza (because those companies are tied with government, and they would be in problematic situation if they sold land what they cannot sell)..

The new Gaza International Airport needs design submissions for the reconstruction of the airport, the Port of Gaza needs design submissions also to extend for a deep sea port for International trade and tourism into Gaza.....this needs to be relayed to students of Universities so they may begin sharing positive forward moving visions of a new and free Palestine. Palestinians will be issued with a Palestinian passport and free to travel and return as will the diaspora be able to freely move, not through tunnels in Rafah or checkpoints from Jordan but straight int Gaza....the Israeli's will no longer have any say over the lives of Palestinians and the tourism into Jerusalem will flow through Gaza where people from all over the world will come in love and be received with love and no-one will enter through Tel-aviv again

Big mistakes. Israel has never been weaker. Giving them five years to recover will mean they will just start again in 5 years with a new army and having learnt from their mistakes. You have the enemy on the back foot. Why let up the pressure. This is a dire mistake. I really hope they do not sign this deal.
An option would be for the Palestinian occupied territories to form into THREE "associate states"; the EU is a group of "associate states", so the notion is familiar. This would give Palestine 3 seats at the UN; and these three "associate states" would form one bond among them. This in turn would leave open the prospect of later adding other parts of occupied Palestine (you know what I mean), as new "associate states". Israel began as a sliver and grew by various illegal means. Palestine could begin anew as three associated states, and for example, Palestine could start to exercise its "right of return" to areas cleansed by Israel; and then "add" those areas when their demographics are sufficient to repopulate those areas. They also have oil and gas reserves, especialy offhore; they can get financing and sell licances; they can use some of the financing to buy back chunks of their own land to build up areas to be viable to annex them. Many things can change; Israel may suffer long-term discredit for its actions and political and economic collapse... the tables can turn and Palestine can be ready to re-absorb its lost territories.

I'm no expert but I daresay if bibi wants 20 % of gaza.. they must be 1. Secular communities where Palestinians are free to be. But every inch lost should be returned Palestinian resettlement in "isreal" that legitimately would be a fair trade off. Everyone gets a but of everything? I doubt isreal would ever agree. But there's no denying a 50 50 several settlement jurisdiction governance might... legitimately be the closest thing we're gonna get to a democracy. Because everyone will at least have their own little bit of desert and Palestine gets some land back. And because of it being multistate... they'd have no choice but to get along because even amongst Palestinians and isrealis.. everyone has their own preferred flavor of religious guilt, and will want to live in the community that best fits their ideals. I didn't fully understand just how bad we fucked up from a "learning from history" standpoint. Until Miriam from gaza started sharing the pictures and stories of those in Gaza. The bombing of innocent people. The massacre of an entire school full of women and children trying to find safety... since you know... civilian infrastructure isn't ever supposed to be the target of war. Ever. Doesn't matter who you are. Because that's how innocent people die. That's how you end up with mass graves. That's how I end up knowing that at least for a while, our hard earned tax dollars were going toward furthering a genocide and splattering ours and our children generation hands with the blood of. And. I. Don't. Think. It. Can. Be. Over. Stated. INNOCENT PEOPLE.
Who didn't hurt anyone. Who are children, who are mothers, fathers. Teachers. Lawyers. Firefighters. Waste management specialists. Doctors. Nurses. Aid workers.
Normal people. Just trying to survive. Who have the same wants and needs that... I take for granted. That are well defined in the un human rights... of which isreal and the us both are signatories and Palestine is whatever an observing state is supposed to be.
