    Thanks Richard I purchased your developer classes years ago. I have recently began a new project as a hobby, I am retired now. I could not find out why my subform would not load correctly. I did not figure out the On Load requery as a solution. I was scratching my head. But It was the solution. Thank you

    Absolutely amazing. BRILLIANT. So handy... honestly. I have been binging your videos for a few weeks now playing catch up and the difference it's made to my own little database is phenomenal. It's turned my Db in to something pretty professional and clever as opposed to the caveman thing I initially made a few weeks ago. You're a megastar.

      Comparing my skills with Richard then I’m not even as advanced as a caveman. 🤣🤪 I’m a dinosaur.🤪🤣

    Richard love your videos, so much info. I use something like this in my database but have set buttons up for TODAY, THIS WEEK, THIS MONTH, THIS YEAR, TODAY TO END OF YEAR. Works like a charm.

    Quick question. I noticed at 30:57 when you showed us the date query result, that the date 2022-09-05 was still being filtered through, even though the end date was 2022-01-01. Was this intended? Edit: I noticed that this row is an entry row, so I believe I just answered my own question

    Mr Richard Mr Richard I appreciate for your videos, I want to know is it possible to make a unbound subform and when I save one register in unbound main form also save all register of my unbound form? thanks

    • @599CD
      @599CD  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unbound forms by definition don't save anything anywhere unless you code it yourself.

    Excellent video as always. I have a question. Suppose I have a report in which the record source is a query. That query uses criteria based on a value from a form. Now I have two different forms from which I would like to generate the same report, but I do not want to have two queries/reports. If I use values from two forms, then I get the missing parameter message when only one form is open. Can you suggest a way around this ? Thanks.

      I'm not sure I follow you since you're a member. Why don't you go ahead and post this on the forum on the website, and the guys and I will do our best to give you some help? Sometimes, it's best if I can see what you're working with to give you some ideas. It's hard to picture it just from words. 599cd.com/Forums

    Can I do this with a report?

  • @DingusBatus
    @DingusBatus 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    It’s so obvious yet I never gave it a thought.
    Use the GUI to build the query and generate the SQL the easy way.
    Copy the SQL from the query into the data source then delete the query.
    I build databases, and spreadsheets, just for fun, none of them ever get used; not proper in a business/professional setting anyway, there is a couple I use personally.
    Your way certainly tidied things up.😀
    Hmm?🤔 If that’s the sort of things you get up to in the extended cut…🤔🤔🤔

    Hello! Relative to my questions, how do I display a single report with multiple entry in a subform just like the one in the video. Or how can I print a report using a subform?

      Hello! I got it with the single printing of report and thank you for that. But how about I go with printing all the reports using a date range? Cause I have tried it, but it just displays all the details of that particular period instead of showing the reports with their corresponding name of clients.

      @@599CD thank you for replying. The thing is, I have a problem when printing a report. Because it would display multiple reports depending on the count of rows that I have entered under the record of member.
