    Thank you so much! I tried inflating my car tiers and couldn’t understand why my cigarette lighter was not working. Your video not only taught me the Cig lighter was called a ‘Power Outlet’ but it also showed me how to change the fuse and find a spare! I appreciate it so much.

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On 2014-2018 there is no replaceable flasher relay. If they're not working, it's the fuse or the bulb.

      If you need to add an aftermarket amplifier, check the manual for the type and amperage of fuse required, since it depends on the amplifier.

    Hey, which fuses are involved with the stereo/radio/headunit?

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There is a RADIO fuse on the top left under the hood. The ACC Fuse in the interior fuse box is also important. There's also a ECU-IG fuse that could prevent the stereo from turning on, I think it's No 3, but I'd check all of them just to be sure.

    Awesome concise video✌🏼Do you have listing of the specific fuses needed? I would like to see and enlarged picture of the fuse box panel cover for both inside and outside the 2017 Toyota corolla please😊
    BTW That crazy icon photo of me is NOT ME- My grandson set up this method of communication -LOL-

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Specific fuses needed for what? It's best to look at your own panel to make sure it's correct, don't rely on Internet.. there are many versions of Corolla with slight differences. Also remember that just because there's a label, that doesn't mean there's a fuse or relay there.. it depends on the model. I'm not sure what you're trying to figure out.. normally the fuses are checked when there's something not working.

    Hey man , thanks for your helpful information.
    I have a 2014 toyota corolla LE but the tail lights, tag lights, and side lights are not working. Yesterday they were working fine and I tried to test the voltage from my multimeter then they went off. I think I dammaged a fuse or something. My question to you : Are they using the same fuse or different ones? In the video, you saw the fuse for the tail and what about the one for fuse ? I'm wodering if I change the 10 A tail fuse will fix the issue ?
    Thanks

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you figured it out? Just pull and check the fuse, no need to change it if it's not burned out.

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are a few: HTR-IG in the interior fuse box for AC Controls. ECU-B2 under the hood for AC Electronics. HTR 50A under the hood for the blower. Hope you got it figured out.

    @cleverfix I wanted to install an inline sony amp, and connect it to a 15 amp fuse. Youre supposed to use the head units fuse if its 15 amp but could I use the ciggerete lighter fuse instead?

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      External amps usually come with their own fuse, and they are connected to the battery terminal. See here: www.crutchfield.com/S-HpTehySqRIo/learn/learningcenter/car/amplifier_installation_guide.html

      @CleverFix  ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you figured this out? I'm not sure, and my car doesn't have it, but I can try to look into it and see if I find anything. It could be bunched together with the ECU fuses if it doesn't have a separate one.

    Thanks but what were the big fuses. Light blue purple and grey ones?

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Under the hood, the big blue and gray rectangular boxes are actually relays, not fuses. I think that's the ones you are referring to?

    • @dr.thunder5014

      @@CleverFix Oh yes I did some further research and they are indeed relays. Thanks for your videos, I always appreciate them!

    Do I need to remove the negative from the battery first right?

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on which fuse. If the fuse has power going to it at all times, even when the car is off, then it's safer to disconnect the battery. That will prevent a small spark from happening when the fuse is being pushed in.
      So it really depends on the fuse and situation.. also if a lot of fuses are going to be pulled out and checked, then disconnecting the battery is a good idea, just in case a tool, like a metal screwdriver, is dropped which could short circuit the contacts of the fuse to the ground.

    I noticed that the IGT/INJ relay is missing .Is this normal?

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it's normal on certain models, although some will have it. If it's not there, then the IGN fuse protects the injectors instead.

    Where is the flasher

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no flasher relay, it's built into the body control module. For turn signals and hazard lights, it's TURN&HAZ under the hood.

    where is interior lights fuses or relay of toyota corolla 2017 or 2016 model located?

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Map light and dome lights are protected by the 10A DOME Fuse in the under the hood fuse box. It's just above the "RADIO" fuse, labelled DOME.

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The relay is likely built into the Body Control Module, and it's used to turn the lights off automatically after a certain period, to prevent draining the battery.

    Where can i find seatbelt fuse ?

    • @CleverFix
      @CleverFix  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends which part of the Seatbelt is having the issue. The computer senses the seatbelt connection, and then it displays the warning light on board. There is a separate fuse for the display light, and for the ECU.
      The fuses to check would be 10A ECU-B, 7.5A Meter and 10A ECU-IG NO2. The Meter and IG-No.2 operate the warning lights, and the ECU-B checks the seatbelt switches.
