I ride that road through New Boston regularly. Great turns along the river after New Boston

Hello my friend. You have these two extraordinary bikes. And is difficult to choose between the two. I love the sporty profile of the XR but I also understand that we value the additional comfort of the GSA.
I don’t usually go much on off-road trails, so I exchanged the GS for the RT (that has the same engine as you know but tuned differently).
The XR is a bike that you can perfectly ride with two up but I enjoyed more to ride it solo.
The GSA or the RT are genuine mile munchers and properly projected as bikes for the pilot and a passenger ( or pillion, more correctly said). The nice thing about the BMW S 1000 XR, is that you can have a sports bike that allows to do some long hours in the saddle, like touring with it. You have the panniers, so there is no need for a backpack, and so, this machine is pretty versatile as I see it. It’s a stunning beautiful bike and you still can do track days with it! With the Pack M version that I think is the one you got, the chain doesn’t need regular lubricant…what a luxury!
Man, if you like to do some off-road trails, with these two bikes you have the best that we can have as motorcyclists. They are very reliable machines and the Service is normally very professional. So, we can ride every bike but this BMW are the ones that deserve your investment 👌🏻

hi bud, completely agree with you 💯. I hope to find some dirt roads here in New Hampshire and I just heard Vermont (USA) has some great trails for the gsa. The RT must be a fast bike, especially off the line and getting speed!? it’s smaller and probably lighter than the gsa, so that’s is a good combination and I don’t blame you for switching over from the gsa to the RT. thanks for stopping by bud, get to hear from you and hope all is well. as always, ride safe!

@@CrayzJohnny thank you for welcoming me to your channel. Bring more content about your rides and it will be a pleasure to watch and cooperate with your work.
The RT has different scope. It’s a big bike with 280 kgs of weight dry but due to its touring vocation is prepared to provide traveling long distances at high paces and the fuel consumption is very reasonable for the comfort and secure ride that it offers. I find it so reliable as the GS or the GSA. It has a superior aerodynamic design that allows you and the pillion to feel really protected and safe doing long mileage on it. At the same time I use the bike for commuting between my house and my working place, that is a daily ride of 40 miles each way. The two panniers and the top case, provide enough space to carry everything I need and that is important if we want to use it often, on working days and not only on weekends, just riding it for fun. It’s a great overall bike.
Thanks once more, and ride safe yourself too ✌️✌️

I’m planning on getting more videos out on the XR and also the GSA. we have a bike week coming within the next couple weeks, it is the oldest bike week on the country and it is having an 100th year anniversary. should be a great turnout this year, compared to previous. talk soon bro, have a great week.

    R1250gs is a unicorn bike

that is one way to look at it, I guess. lol

Not really. Most people cannot ride the 1250 off-road like hyped for. Plus the suspension is pretty terrible off-road with that small front tire. If you're going to buy a GSA for touring, just get a full on touring bike, like a Goldwing. Unless you want a Starbucks crawler to show off your expensive ADV wear.

@@chrislovell7448 true, i always go offroad with my GS, but i broke many parts 😅, this bike is heavy for offroading.. however, i think its the best bike for touring and light adventure
