too hot there. the humidity sucks. Portland, Maine is the best place to be homeless during the warmer season
That screeching noise you heard at night was a Barred Owl. That sounded like just one, but sometimes they’ll do it in groups and it’s blood curdling lol.
The trees are called Cypress trees. The above ground root systems are referred to as “knees”

Cool, i always pay attention to the local plants, but i don't know any names.
I have lived in northwest Austin for several decades. The homeless problem is clearly out of hand. I believe in helping people, but this has become increasingly dangerous. Nightly residences are being stalked by those living in the woods and under bridges. I also used to work in the local ER…I still recognize some of these people. People social services tried to help, yet they are back on the street. That pretty cool curved building is Google Austin headquarters. In south Austin it’s downright frightening. Store owners are afraid to leave and the woman have been threatened several tía es. Calls to APD take a long time, if they come at all. No don’t come to Austin. Yea, those nooks and crannies are where some hide, making it very dangerous for folks.

Yeah i cant neccisarily reccommend the relaxed approach to homelessness, but if you're going to change it you need a good plan of action. I don't have any answers. I can only speak on my experience

Anywhere in Florida is insane. the heat, the bugs, the cops. lots of working people down here are priced out living in cars, but we arent supposed to know that.
You pass by a lot of trains hey you could ride a train use your cellphone to listen to train companies and you can figure out where the trains are going its just a idea

Honestly, as ratty as my shoes are, they are the best fitting shoes i've ever had. I think the thin soles work better for me than super cushiony sneakers. Unfortunately i did get rid of them just a couple days ago. Hopefully the new ones are just as good
