- In this video I share my final thoughts on the six amazing days I spent cruising around the Caribbean on the Celebrity Beyond. I had a fantastic time experiencing this ship and everything it has to offer, and in this video you'll get to hear my thoughts on every category - from food and dining, ship experience, entertainment, shows and whether Celebrity is a good option for a solo cruiser like myself!

What a great review of Celebrity Beyond, my favorite ship! I’m so glad you had such a wonderful solo cruise experience on Celebrity and hope that your experience on Reflection, is just as good. IMO Celebrity’s entertainment is top notch, especially on the Edge class ships! The Martini Bar is always a blast especially when Captain Kate is at the helm. I’ll be looking forward to your updates on Reflection, as I’ve never sailed on her (I’ve been on Equinox though). I loved the lawn garden and will be interested in your take on an older, smaller Celebrity ship.
You convey quite well your style of cruising, what you like to do and that you have realistic expectations. I'm glad Celebrity were on their A game for your cruise and yeah, Capt. Kate seems to be a favorite.
I've sailed solo on Celebrity 5 times in the past 2 years and, like you, have never had an issue with how the crew treats me. That said, the management definitely changed their attitude and pricing over the past two years, and I thing their reasoning is faulty. I am willing to bet my onboard far exceeds that of many of those who cruise double occupancy. Enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Meredith thank you for the wonderful videos on this ship, I'm so glad that I found your channel. I was already stoked as it for the cruise that I booked on the Beyond, but even more so after watching your entire series on it. The song that was playing during the Captain Pour was very fitting for a Carribean Cruise as a verse in the song translates to " Who can tame the force of the sea, that gets into your veins. The heat of the sun that has gotten into you, and it does not leave you alone." On a side note, nice baby Monstera. Will be looking forward to more of your cruise videos to see what else I'm missing just by cruising on RC.

Such a great video!! When I sailed solo on Equinox last year they always sat me at a two top, but it they were right next to other two tops. One night this lady kept saying how sorry she felt for me, she was amazed that I was by myself, and kept talking to her husband about me. Lol
I have definitely had things like that happen! Folks will ask me (politely) if I'm traveling solo and I'll go ahead and volunteer the info that I *choose* to travel solo so they won't try to go down the path of feeling sorry for me 🤣

I've done solo cabins twice on Celebrity Apex. I loved it! Celebrity is now my first place to check itinerary and if they have what lm looking for l go with them. Love the solo infinite balconies. I am going to europe in 2025. Trying a solo balcony on oddessy of the Seas. I can't wait to compare. Cruises in rhe Mediterranean are much different than the caribbean. Tip: The free beach next door to the Bimini Beach club is just as clean and nice. In Bimini l am in the water and not on a chair so it doesn't matter to me to be in the club. I rented a golf cart and visited all the beaches on the island. I enjoy your videos.

@@MerCruisesSolo Interesting. It's doing 4 and 3 night cruiser from what I understand. It's a little different than the other Solstice class ships but seems highly rated in reviews. The Sky Lounge is smaller and it doesn't have the Quasar Nightclub (was underutilized).
