Always book a Reserve Collection mini suite with Princess Plus. On the Regal Princess right now with 6 days left on our 21 day Trans Atlantic. Having a fantastic time
1984 first cruise RELAXING, now, not so much. All was included, everyone received same, with only exceptions drinks, tours, and cabin style. Now first know because your cabin category has the word SUITE in it that is often not really a Suite category except in name. Often just cabins redesigned in name only offering some small benefit if any. Ship in a Ship lines have aimed for that since 90's. Basically a class system like old transatlantic ships. going the math when you are paying $60 or $90 per person per day should be a must. You may get convenience but rarely a true dollar value for many. Finally consistency, something you will never find on ships or lines. Physical size and design, individual hotel managers style and policy etc all varies greatly. So watching your excellent presentation you can readily see how complicated cruising has become. I don't cruise to make decisions constantly, I cruise to relax which is harder to do every year. Economy of size another area lines have strived for, more people less staff. Added fees, it goes on and on. Yes we still cruise but once a year not the previous 4 or 5 times a year. Just not the same for us. But hey they don't want us older cruisers as much, we accept that. If you enjoy raised rates, free turning into upscale, elimination of benefits, less service at ore cost, enjoy.
Full Suite/Elite dedicated line at guest services pretty much means no wait if having an issue, no matter the time of day or day of the cruise. Sorry if you mentioned it and I missed it.
Great information -Thank you so much 👍🏻 Are you sure anyone can buy a day pass at the Sanctuary for $90 on the SUN Princess - I thought on SUN only Sanctuary collection guests have access.
Yes, my understanding is that anyone can buy a pass to the Sanctuary Club, although Princess only sells a set number per day. But there is an area of sun loungers within reserved exclusively for Sanctuary Collection guests. We haven’t been on the Sun Princess yet so I would love if someone can confirm!
@@EmbraceToday-travelThank you for your reply, we are sailing in a Vista Suite on SUN in November, so if no one confirms before then, I will pop back and report back from our experience
I can assure you that the Sanctuary/Suite/Signature Lounge does NOT have “round the clock” snacks. Spent an entire week this Summer in a Sun Princess Sky Suite adjacent to the lounge and I checked at various times after Midnight and not a single time did I see any food or beverage out.
Thanks for the firsthand account! I wonder if they’ve improved that since you sailed? I believe it officially become the Suite Lounge in October, and the published info did indicate it would have food and drink.
I only recently reached Elite status. I didn’t realize that the free wine tasting was on the first day and that the free canapés on formal nights have to be ordered.
.I have cruised 31 times with Princess Cruises....the most recent was this summer of 2024 in Europe...Princess has now but only one goal...the maximization of profits...it has cut out most of the no cost benefits passengers use to enjoy....it has less employees...the food served...Horizon Court or Dining Rooms was ordinary.....No more REAL fringe benefits for Loyalty Members....I felt like a squeezed lemon,....it will be my last cruise with Princess Cruises and with the Cruising industry in general...
Nicely presented walk thru of the programs. Thanks
Thanks for sharing. We board the Regal Princess next month. New subscriber here.
Not "cuh-napes", "can-a-pays".
Thanks for the pronunciation :) I don’t go to fancy enough parties!
Love The Enclave. Booked for my entire trans Atlantic. Use it almost every day

The Medallionnet Max works great on the Regal. Can stream videos and get emails with no buffering.
That’s good to know. Thanks for choosing this video to test it out 😊

Thanks for mentioning that, I didn’t catch that perk.

Yes, make sure you ask your room steward for a canape order form if he doesn’t give you one!
You don’t need the background music. Your videos are great except for that background music. Thank you
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked the video anyway!
Its pronounced “can o pay”
