Now days you need to really read between the lines when people talk, especially athletes. When Dale Jr said there, "might be a scenario" in which he could drive a sprint car, thats code word for, "Ill be in a sprint car in the near future." Same for Carl Edwards when asked about getting back into the NASCAR series. His response was vague, which means you'll probably see him back in 2024. Just my opinion... :)

Hard to believe that Dale Jr..
hasn't ever been to a Sprint car race!! That is INSANE!!😂I can understand that he would sit in one and not race one. He's already suffered enough concussions for probably 2 dozen athletes and Sprint cars are probably the cars with the least amount of protection. Give me Dirt Track Racing and Nascar and an occasional NHRA drag strip race and I'm HAPPY.

I'll bet Jr. has an even greater appreciation for the skill Kyle Larson has. As far as I'm concerned, Kyle is the best driver going today. That's quite a statement having been around many of the greats from the 70s forward. To see, Shuman, both Swindell's, Kinser, Bubby, Tim Green, and Gee, and even Wolfgang were something else. The cars back then were nothing compared to today, but it was sure fun being able to stand on a mound darn near on the track at Ascot, and Knoxville feeling the speed was so cool. That would never happen today

Relatively new subscriber to Floracing-only 3 years. I grew up watching SHAMCAR when the only place you could see it was The Wild World of Sports on tape. Used to go to a few races a year but I got tired of SHAMCAR chasing the ever elusive "new fan" while continually pissing down the backs of the fans they already had. Haven't watched a SHAMCAR race since they screwed Carl Edwards. I hope dirt racing organizations don't make the same mistakes SHAMCAR did. Absolutely nothing wrong with growing the sport. SHAMCAR sh!tting all over the fan base that made them successful, changing rules to ensure 200 mph traffic jams until the last lap when the drivers crash into each other and the winner is the survivor and mandating a car that cannot pass on short tracks is just plain garbage.
