the avatar game will have an impact on sales as there are a lot of people already waiting for its release so they can buy the game. vr will defin have a big impact too and online multiplayer can have a big role too if people come out with original online games that peek interest. now, the thing that would make a huge, huge impact would be Dreams dropping on PC. this game would blow up overnight.

Dreams right now reminds me a lot of early TH-cam, it's mostly kids and adults making random crap but give it a few years and we'll be seeing some really amazing shit. Maybe that Spiderman Kid will keep working on his level and make a full length Spiderman Level! Really exciting times.
Well, Donkey didn't show much but there is already pretty cool content, like Elca's Avatar project or Fallout (made by 4 guys). It's just to look in the game and another channels. But yes, definitely there will start to pop up more and more well developed content.

the best thing about Dreams (particularly with VR) is that you can laugh and roll your eyes for 55 mins, then for the next 5 mins you experience something truly special. It's well worth it while it's half price but more as an experience rather than a game (and I'd imagine if you can grasp the creator mode, it's 1000s of hours of enjoyment for a small price!)

Dreams is the Mario Maker of all video games. In Dunkeys own words, there’s a sea of garbage levels, but every now and then, you find a diamond that makes it all worth it.
I've been playing Dreams since it was an Alpha and trust me. There's a lot of quality games, and even stories. Dunkey just found all the funny ones, which again is why this game is amazing. You have the best of both worlds. What the devs inteded, and dumb fun stuff.
truth be told sonic mania was a brilliant step in the right direction. They actually let a fan, someone who enjoys the games, design the levels and the new characters, check it out.

I love how everytime a "do it yourself" type of game comes out what the developer wants and what actually comes from it are so different.
Some of the stuff is actually really good, dunkey played the silly games
Dreams is the Mario Maker of all video games. In Dunkeys own words, there’s a sea of garbage levels, but every now and then, you find a diamond that makes it all worth it.
I've been playing Dreams since it was an Alpha and trust me. There's a lot of quality games, and even stories. Dunkey just found all the funny ones, which again is why this game is amazing. You have the best of both worlds. What the devs inteded, and dumb fun stuff.
This is exactly what they wanted.
I've seen some cool shit on youtube of the games people have made so its not all like this.
