Steven ended up kicking the habit, after long years of battle. He's currently touring with his new band. They play a lot of GNR songs, and personally I think they sound better live.

This is probably my favorite rock vocal all-time, even though I mostly prefer 70s 80s classic rock. Sebastian has such control of tone, timbre, volume, pitch and fucking RANGE! He can make you feel anything he wants with that control. And when HE really feels it, like this song, it's transcendent and transformative. I feel like I AM him.
I had already bought and loved their debut album but when Wasted Time came out I rushed to go get their second album just to put that song on repeat. It soon became my favorite song of theirs for many reasons.
Silent Lucidity by Queensryche, Love Bites by Def Leppard, Winds of Change by Scorpions, etc. I grew up on hair metal. There are so, so many good ones out there from that era!

Yeah, Baz seems to write from the heart-- which is why, as much as I love the song "In a Darkened Room" , I don't like to think too deep on it.
