- In this episode I show how I built the Arrma Gorgon to what I think is BLX spec, the speed that should be on the box and price.
Also, there are some useful tips if you own or plan to own this fantastic truck.

I didn't realize the servo saver was broken from that other crash. That is why she kept going left into the water 😅
That servo saver is such a weak point. My daughter broke her the first time she had a head-on collision.
@@Adubbs87 that's a fact. The hot racing servo saver is much better but does require Loctite and supervision 😅
Absolutely man it is definitely a much better option

You can get the extended Granite body posts and use a Granite body, we put a Gorgon body on my daughter's Granite 4x4 and it looks awesome, now it's a Gorgon 4x4.

Love the body and color accent parts. That's also a good idea of stacking the two bodies to improve the durability. My original red body and motor have seen better days so its time for some upgrades.
Thanks! I saw Dynamike RC do something similar with the orange and I was sold! The double body held up for a while, I should have taped/glued them together for more rigidity.

RPM makes Roof Skids for the Xmaxx that would probably fit it! I used them on my Kraton 4s v2.5 and had to cut them a little longer than half to fit the roof.
Thanks! There are a few out there that are a direct fit. After seeing how it operates on its side 😂 I'm not sure I'll need them after all.
Show goo and dry wall tape works really well.

Lots of fun with that little guy. It can move, too. Sucks when the weather doesn't cooperate. How about that upoming Typhon Grom. Looks pretty cool.

I was thinking of getting one but I got the new Rlorlo truck, I live close to orchard maybe one day we can link up.. Sundays they go nuts there

I still find folk out there in horrible weather.
Nice video.... try some dry wall tape and some E 6000. It will make the body ridged. What ESC are you using.

@@bigbristv I’m not into 1/10 scale anymore and anything I buy has to be 4wd
I'm running a 16 tooth pinion and no issues yet .. maybe the 20 tooth is to high

Will a 3s battery give me more speed?.

If your esc can handle 3s, you can probably get 10mph more going up to 3s.
Emm buying new body would be more expensive if you put just drywall tape and shoe goo , i just recommend, but you don't have to ,if you don't want
