Sir what if i accidentally destroy the white that holds the golden ribon , the upper one , if i return all the parts the LDC didn't work but the power is okay
If the lens ribbon not attached can it power on ? I've problem, when i hit power button led just blink a few second and just off again and lcd not display anything
I'm not 100% sure on that camera, but many digital cameras have to receive information from the lens unit during the power up process, and it will shut back down again if it doesn't receive the information from the lens unit.
@@Thebobfactor i think you'r right, i'll figure it out if the problem is lens assy. Then the price to repair is not worth anymore. Did you have schematic for the board ? Thanks again.
@@muhammadFikri24, I know what you mean on the cost for repairing, especially if you have to take it to a repair shop. One thing that I do (which you may have already checked out yourself) is getting either a "used, working" camera on eBay, or a "Broken For Parts Only" camera. There are quite a few A4000's listed as working in the range of $40 to $50. Here's a listing for one that supposedly works: www.ebay.com/itm/304177145998?_trkparms And this is a A4000 that is listed as "Broken, For Parts Only", which may or may not have a good working lens or main board, it doesn't say what's wrong with it. But generally if the lens unit isn't shown with it stuck extended out, then the lens is generally good. A lot of times, it's just something simple that's wrong with the camera, plus in this case it's only half the price too: www.ebay.com/itm/224420440896?hash I hope you get it figured out. @@Thebobfactor i found the problem but i can't fix it, the lens unit is broken, all gear is damaged. they can extend but can't close back. the camera can boot but no display. i think this motherboard issue because no power on lcd backlight but the backlight it self is good "i already test it". so i need to change the mainboard and lens assy, in my local store sell mainboard only about $10 and the "broken for part only" $12 but i'm not sure the lens assy is working because its a random sell, for lens assy i've checked on aliexpress $40 which means if i take a part from a broken camera then i have to pay half of the used working camera price. for info that's my client camera and i'm as a local repair shop ask for payment about $10 on that cam. i think i'll not continue cause the cost to repair is too high and the camera are not worth it anymore for a few years.
I don't have a Powershot to test this on, but you might check to see if it is in Macro mode. Many cameras will reduce the available shooting modes when it is in Macro mode.

I destroy a little/a bit of the zif connector the upper light color that holds the ribbon

I use to use the toy camera mode a lot, but it has suddenly disappeared. When I click the up arrow, all I see is Auto and self timer. Please help :(
