The episodes focused on solely the Flash. Besides who knows if it will get worse. The event used the same writers so the new episodes could be just as good or maybe better.

But they stopped because apparently Grant noticed that every shot was from his waist up, no focus on his legs, so he questioned why he was even running in the first place. Then they came up with the arms thing and the rest is history.
There seems to be a lot of mixed feelings about the cgi, and I think what’s going on is that the way they’re using cgi has improved, but the cgi itself looks worse. When Barry is doing a slow motion run in cg at 1:51, there’s no shadowing of his feet when they hit the ground. Corridor crew did an analysis of future Barry vs past Barry in season 2, and the shadowing and lighting effects are really good, with the shadowing by his feet changing based on his flickering lightning. Now the lightning trails seems to be less erratic and follow more of a trail. The erratic lightning was probably because they had to go frame by frame for some of those, so smoothing it out saves time. While I think the cg itself looks much worse than what it once was, I think the fight scenes are more enjoyable to watch. So far this episode I’ve really liked the way they’ve got the camera moving through the scene, feels much more dynamic, and the fight choreography looking a lot better. Feels like the content has shifted to more ambitious power exchanges and less focus on trying to get it photo real, which I can get down with.

But the series is still going on which means there are enough viewers and those who hate the series are watching it, so even they support it.

When he got struck by the Godspeed clones back in season 7, the SGI made sense for the scene but for me, the SGI on that part compared to what the SGI was on this episode looked like crap- in- comparison.
Although. I have to admit, I love how the show puts so much effort into everything and I understand that when you're on a time crunch, you can't do everything you want.
