I happen to have three or four of them out in the garage 1972's I believe.. it's a project I've been planning on doing for about 2 years now LOL maybe I got some motivation now thank you great job by the way
My 2 brothers and I had to share this bike. I was around 10 years old when we got it and rode it all the way into my teens. You want to give your kid a happy childhood get him a dirt bike. The only problem I remember was as soon as it came out of the garage all the kids in the neighborhood wanted to ride it. I had to shake em off. This suckas mine, go get your own.
In 1973 at age 3 my dad gave me a 1969 z50 monkey. I rode that thing 24/7 365 days a year..in winter I'd have to remove spark plug and heat with a match to start her..miss the ol girl
Awesome! We did a 72 Z50, tons of fun and great to work on!
Right on! Stay tuned for the finished product.

Thanks so much Myke! Do it man. I know Liza had a great time transforming her bike. Stay tuned for the completed bike. It looks amazing.
My buddy a long time ago had this mini bike. I loved riding it.
Well, apparently it's making a come back. I've never ridden one but I hear it's a ton of fun.
@@TheMotoFotoYT I seen they have the monkey now. I want one but it’s not kick start like the z50 :(

That's a great story. You should pick up another one and restore it?

I'll have the complete bike up, hopefully, soon. Stay tuned.
