Great lists, I would add Outlive, it has a strong post apocalyptic theme and interesting worker placement mechanics. Thanks for your time in delivering engaging infotainment.
You should have done two lists, one with post apocalyptic games and another one with zombie theme games, there's a lot to work with there, but nice list though. So happy to see my beloved Resi on the list 😊
The zombie apocalypse is doing some work in this top 10. Regarding Pandemic Legacy games: My order of preference is 0 > 1 > 2, but for this list: 2 is post apocalypse, 1 is mid apocalypse/trying to divert the apocalypse, and 0 is pre apocalypse. Thanks for letting me know about Resident Evil. I like the feel of Nemesis, so I'm interested to check out another game where I'm trying to avoid the enemies or kill a small number of them rather than trying to kill everything that moves.
Gotta go with JT on the Pandemic Legacy pick! I actually prefer Season 2, which is definitely post-apocalyptic. Liked Season 2 better because there is more variety of things that come up throughout the game. Season 1 started to feel repetitive after about 7 or 8 months. Interesting that Sam found the gameplay in S2 frustrating-I loved the sense of discovery and the fresh, unique twist on the original mechanisms.
Yes, Wasteland Express Delivery Service, I love seeing this on any list. Revive is a very good pic also. Agree with season 2 being post-apocalyptic, but I am surprised that neither of you completed season 0. I'm just saying that I think it was our most epic conclusion.
I'd agree with JT and would argue that Pandemic Legacy: Season 1 is apocalyptic, and Season 2 is post-apocalyptic. Those Pandemic Legacy games are still my favorite legacy experiences. :-) Love 'em!
Anachrony anyone? It’s double post-apocalypse, since the game starts as post appcalypse and another one happens in middle of it, and there is post that event as well.
In my collection, my favorites are Spire's End, Machina Arcana, Marvel Zombies, and Cosmic Frog. Nothing quite says post apocalypse more than giant space frogs consuming what's left of a planet's fragmented landmass to create a new one.😂 I'd argue that Resident Evil is an active apocalypse game since it's just the mansion rather than the whole world during the timeline of RE1. 😋 I consume a lot of post apocalypse media, but honestly don't have a lot of games with that theme so far.

Thanks so much for being here, Garry! Outlive is a good one! I considered it for my list.
JTs last game definitely CROSSED THE LINE XD
Woohoo!! JT

I hope you like it. You'll have to let me know what you think. JT

I wish I could figure out how to forget everything that happens in the pandemic Legacies, so I could play them again fresh. Thanks, JT
well Walking Dead comic was prior to Board Game by more than a decade. The comic was released in October 2003 and Dead of Winter was released in 2014
I knew the comic book predated the game, I was wondering about the tv show specifically. Thanks for being here!
@@SamHealey6 the show started on Halloween 2010

Time was our biggest hindrance for Season 0, Danny. Hopefully, it will get finished at some point!
Maximum Apocalypse is an underrated post apocalyptic themed game.
I've never played it. JT

High Five!!!

Good idea! JT
Fallout Shelter, Pandemic Season 1 and 2 would be my choices. I haven't played many games of this theme.

It's a theme that works very well in board games.
I think the whole point of Cinderella was she didn’t have to scrunch her toes for the shoe to fit 😂😂😂
Lol, so true. JT
I was referring to one of the ugly stepsisters that tried to put the slipper on…
Sam, I really thought you would add Wasteland Express Delivery Service.
Outlive and Last aurora ❤❤❤❤
Post, mean after Sam. ... lol 😆
Waste Knights!!!
