Yes I second this. I couldn't figure out why my deck wouldn't shut off so I ended up scraping the project(not this radio btw). Pretty sure the German ground being brown is my issue! Thanks.

Did you need an adapter in order for the steering wheel control to work? I have a toyota matrix 2nd gen (2011) and I’m trying figure out the best adapter that fits my car in order to keep steering wheel control with my new unit

Yeah we had to get a canbus reader. We did install one with this (you can see us adding the extra black and red cables) however we will didn’t show how to set it up in this video as each one is so different and a bit tedious.
You can find them on Amazon for your exact car and most have good directions
