    I love that Dynasty cream! So good for my acne prone skin. Winters here in Finland are cold and because of heating, air humidy is so dry. This cream keeps my skin hydrated and doesen’t feel too heavy 💕

    I started talking to this beautiful woman in a parking lot today. I thumbed up her car and she put her window down and we chatted forever. One of the first things she said was I had beautiful skin. Thanks Rob!! You and Penny are directly responsible for this lovely compliment.

    I always thought that I had dry skin because it felt tight, but when I gained more skin care knowledge I realised that it was dehydrated and not dry. So now I use hydrating toners and serums and lock it in with an occlusive moisturiser.

      @@lauravenus9547 I actually layer two moisturisers: a hydrating one Pyungkang Yul intensive repair cream and an occlusive one: La Roche-Posay lipikar Baume Ap+m (which actually is a body balm and thick as butter because of the high content of Shea butter).

    I took your advice about pycnogenol from the ordinary . Been using it since last week alongside squalane and their rose hip oil too. As you say the weather has really turned but my skin feels amazing . I’m waking up with it still feeling seriously moisturised. Tysm for the recommendation it’s really upped my skin care game!!❤

    Hi Rob my skin is always dry, but Winter hits hard and it's like it's two sizes too small for my face lol. It gets red/flaky and very irritated. My absolute favourite is the paula's choice clinical ultra rich moisturiser for day time and the soothing body butter (as a face cream) at night. Now normally I object to spending this kind of price on a moisturiser, but for me it's worth it for the comfortable skin - soft, not tight and far less irritated. The clinical ultra rich is buttery and yet sinks in without a greasy residue allowing for spf application and makeup during the day. The soothing body butter is a bit richer and works better for me at night, plus it's twice the size and cheaper allowing for a more liberal application. I've tried so many moisturisers (including most of the hyped ones) and these are the best for my extremely dry skin. If the PC is a bit too much coin, then my runner up is the skincity extreme cream (about £10 cheaper per tube and 15mls more than the clinical ultra rich from PC). It's a really good moisturiser, but not quite as fab as the PC for me. Don't be frightened with super dry skin to look at body creams - they're often more occlusive and can work really great overnight, when a bit more of a greasy layer isn't an issue. They can also be used instead of vaseline etc as an extra layer of occlusion over a standard moisturiser, without being as greasy as a pure petrolatum balm. Best wishes.

    • @sonjaforrester9255
      @sonjaforrester9255 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey, Rob! I've really fallen in love with your channel lately and wanted to give your products a try. Especially since I'm also a guy with very acne-prone and oily skin whose acne is now somewhat under control but who's starting to look into anti-ageing skincare. I have a couple of questions regarding your serum and moisturiser:
    1) Is your moisturiser suitable for using in the morning under sunscreen and a tiny bit of make up (I use concealer to cover a few stubborn post-acne marks)? I want something pretty moisturising but still leaving a non-greasy finish. I'm using Neutrogena Hydro Boost Aqua Cream atm but I don't find it moisturising enough and I'm not a huge fan of the high hyaluronic acid content in it.
    2) I've heard all about the benefits of peptides and antioxidants, including vitamin C, from your channel but honestly I cba to use a separate product for each of those actives. Would I be ok with just using your serum as a universal treatment step in the morning to "cover all bases" so to speak? At night I go for a stronger active - resurfacing retinol serum from CeraVe.
    Apologies for the long comment. And huge thanks for the amazing content! I really enjoy watching it every day.

    For dry skin folks or whoever got skin that can handle it, I recommend mineral oil and petroluem jelly. Applying a toner/serum and/or moisturizer and sealing it all in with mineral oil or petroluem jelly is such a cost effective way to take care of the skin in my opinion. I have been using mineral oil and/or petroleum jelly as my final step in my night routine, and honestly my skin feels so protected and soft. Also constantly feeling mineral oil and petroleum jelly is really allowing me to realize why the heck la mer works well too 😂😂😂😂😂 no seriously use the ordinary marine ha or cosrx snail mucin essence with mineral oil/petroleum jelly together i bet it's the same thing (without using nivea)

    I'm using Derma-Vu hydrating lotion for my hands in the kitchen at the moment.
    Paraffin and mineral oils don't agree with my skin, so I usually avoid those. (The exception is Ultrasun lip protection 30, no idea why this one is fine 🤔).
