Is the chassis of the crf150r bigger than the 85? Or about the same? Like from bars to end of seat length… looking for something that is just a bit longer than an 85 but about the same seat height. 85 feels too cramped, but a 125 2t or 2504t is too tall.
I mean both are great bikes to do both of what you like but sometimes with trail riding a two stroke it gets hard, because your not always going fast and it could potentially overheat but that’s not likely going to happen! I think just lean more towards what you like and are more comfortable on and it will be a great choice either way!
I mean the 150R is a tad taller but it also depends on what your going to do with the bike, like riding trails or track and what not. If you like 4 strokes then you can get the regular size 150r which is a bit shorter than the one in the video, or the 85!

They have different types of power the kx is probably better for motocross being lighter but if you are like a wheelie goon or you ride it on the street or trails the 150r would be better but the kx is better for track riding
Its held up great actually, its what um using now to reply to this comment lol but the only thing I needed to do was add some extra storage since it started to slow down a bit since I had so many video's on here taking up a lot of space but other than that its never failed me. ;)

I mean the 85 was my friends so I honestly didn’t ride it often but the 150 is a great bike with amazing power and it’s very reliable, and the 85 is also a great bike for racing, and trail riding. But if I hat the choice between the two it would probably be the 150RB

Yeah that’s one thing that sucks about them is that even the oldest ones are still the same price as like 2016 ones used in some areas so it’s hard to find good deals.

I do not know what size jet is in there at the moment It would be stock size but I forgot it had a aftermarket pipe so the jets are probably tweaked a bit. If your having problems definitely open up the carb and clean it out and see what size jets your running and if they are different than stock buy new OEM ones! (Assuming your bike is completely stock engine wise)
I mean it already depends on gearing but both bikes completely stock, The 150 should go about 65-70mph and the 85 around 60-70mph. They both go around the same top speed!

I always hear about the CRF150R being hard to start and warming up, and this one started first kick, and warmed up with no issues. Do you have the stock jetting, or did you tinker with it?
They are def hard to start and warm up but in the video it was most likely already warmed up! Mines starts up quick but takes a bit to warm up, and yes all stock jetting and everything!
The most ideal jetting for stock or aftermarket internals is main jet at 140 and pilot jet of size 42.I have a full FMF system on mine and it runs amazing
What I know is that stock 150rs don’t come with a spark arrester, or at least mine doesn’t. And if you do somehow have one, taking it out would really do nothing and mostly just make it louder and probably would backfire a little!
I have a kx85 and my friend has a 150rb and I rode his but I couldn’t tell which one had more power but I don’t like 2 strokes that much because of power and
I mean on the 150 I really haven’t used a full tank while riding, but I’ve filled the tank up all the way a couple times and went to the trails for like an hour and there was still more than half a tank left!

The 150 has more bottom end torque but the 85 is faster top end. So if your always on it 85 is the way to go

Do you know what pilot jet is in the 85 because I bought a 17 85 and it’s super boggy unless I turn the air screw all the way in
