Thank you for the tips! I love your content. You can hide the back links button and minimal comments option in the top for slightly more space on mobile and a cleaner look. In the top right corner under the”customize page”
Ooooh great call on the backlinks! I've always just left them there, but I don't use them so I should probably just hide them 🤣 And yes to the minimal comments!! Even on desktop I only ever use minimal comments. Otherwise it messes up the layout of the whole page 🤪
@@itskatwaugh right! I use notion a lot on my phone and turning off stuff you don't use definitely cuts down on the clutter and just makes it so much easier. Thanks for all the awesome videos! I have been using notion for years but always learn something new from you (:
I have actually begged the Notion geeks to give us an option to make everything off or minimal as a default. I know Notion really wants more companies than individuals to use this app, but it is a real hassle to make these changes for every new page. Sigh.
Thank you for this! The navigation bar is what I needed! Even on the desktop, it's essential. I don't like to use the breadcrumbs. Maybe it's the way my page structure is set up, many times it takes me to unexpected places. 😅 I'm learning a lot from your videos. ❤
I’m so glad my videos have been helpful! Yes, breadcrumbs are really only useful depending on how you’ve set up your page. I use them frequently, but for the most part I design my pages specifically for that. The navigation bar totally fixes this though! 🙌
Would love to see a video of you setting up your Dashboard. I'm a newbie so I have several pages that I would like to bring into one dashboard. Was able to follow the mobile navigation bar to begin the setup, but would love to see the full navigation section of all the pages.
I'll definitely keep this in mind! In the meantime, you might want to check out my Notion tour for a full picture :) th-cam.com/video/ciSiQDwbyxU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5qu9w3nB0U5I_4wL
Queen of Understatement. Mobile app can be hard to use. Thanks for the tips.

That would be cool if it were included in the overall workspace settings… similarly to a how you can set all of the calendars to a Monday start!!
That's a real communicating smile !🥰
THANK YOU!!!!!! It'd be awesome it Notion offered a mobile version
