    A more objective comparison would also test heat loading, doing 10 stops back to back and see how the distance changes with heat. that is where the real advantage of the shimano pads comes into play.

      @@freerfixedit I got both wheels’ sets in, but after a couple days, the front set has started to squeak, any idea why? They haven’t gotten wet yet. Also when I roll the bike back-and-forth really slowly I can sort of hear them rubbing. do I adjust the calipers in anyway, or maybe when you tighten the main bolt back in? Is there a certain technique for it?

    • @freerfixedit
      @freerfixedit 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ch40440 yeah, the squeaky pads may be from glazing. I noticed if it happened to me, if I rode and drug the brake slightly for about 50 feet or so about 2/3 times it would stop. Or you can remove pads and rub em on some sand paper. The rubbing may be from not having your brake caliper centered. I actually have a video on this about stopping squeak, but long story short, you want to hold you brake lever down while you tighten the 2 5mm caliper bolts. It should center your rotor better between the pads

      @@Smilldon that’s weird. You got the metal version right? Not the resin? Everyone else has said good things. I wonder what’s going on with them. Maybe clean rotors with brake parts cleaner?
