I have been watching your videos, and you are a great reference!!! I purchased a 10' Scotty Sportsman Goucho for $800 ( actually the seller wanted $500, but i offered an extra $300 so he wouldn't sell it on me sight unseen) The damage from water...well let's just say it was a mess, and a complete tear down. I saved the skin, all of the emblems, and even the hubcaps. And now I have this month torn it down and started building. The base/floor is done and walls are cut out, and ready to go up. I have until July to finish her, and because of your videos I have learned so much. When she is all done, not only will she look glamp-or-ous but will be solid and sturdy. I don't think people realize the physical labor it takes to rebuild a camper. So thank you, I look forward to watching more if your videos in the future.
Speaking of videos, could you make one addressing the placement to the wheelwell, the distance the tire must clear, especially where it concerns the door side. and how the wood must be cut out to accompany the tire from rubbing. Thanks.

I'm sick of Shasta builds. Bet I could do one in my sleep now. But hey... They are the icon of vintage trailers. I've never paid more than $500 for a trailer. Would love to know what you paid for this one?
More than that. I've never built one but some of my earliest memories are camping with my grandparents and my parents in an early 60's Shasta.

Those cushions are amazing! Do they have a wood frame on the 4 sides and then sprung like a chair/couch? I am a hobbyist upholsterer and would love to replicate something like this when we rebuild our 15' Scotty. Luxury seating!

I used to but now I enjoy rebuilding them.
