I'm not hating on these. They seem very solidly constructed and I believe they would keep the water off my pants.
The issue I see is the mounting method I'm certain would funnel water directly into your bearings. Anyone who has ridden in the elements knows wet bearings seize up literally within an hour of sitting idle.
I like my Cloud Ride Hurricanes for wet work because they seem to have purposely engineered the hub to shed water away from the bearings upright or turned sideways.
I've been trying to design a simple fender in my head out of thin flexible plastic. I tend to TimTaylor things I design a lot of times. I cursed engineers constantly for this as a tradesman.
I've been leaning towards a simple flap with slots to match the base plate mounting holes. Just loosen truck hardware and slide them in. As long as they are plenty flexible and light weight it really wouldn't matter if they rub the wheels a little when turning.

Im doing LDP (long distance pumping) we use kind of slalom set ups with very soft front truck and front foot as close or on top of the front truck.
Becous of this we end up with alot of raisers to handle wheel bites.
Could wheel shields help to eliminate wheel bites? ofc. they would kill the lean at the point where it hits the board but it could be worth it if we could lose some raisers.

Yes, but they're sized for large wheels, so it limits the height you could lose.

If I can get a hold of some.
Avenue isn't sending out review sets anymore they said, and they're also out of stock at the moment. Can't find any used or anything.

Geez man, calm TF down and catch your breath. There's no need to be so nervous on Camera.

It's not enamel paint. That doesn't even make sense on an item that has many recesses and cavities. Like almost all aluminum, it is powder coated, which is applied electrostatically and then heat fused. Would help if you had something more than just "guesses" if you want to be taken seriously.
