Punch showroom visit and test drive points : - Thigh support for tall ppl is better and sufficient both at front and rear. The seat inclined towards up towards front. Thigh support better than altroz. - Boot space is 319 only and smaller than altroz. - The door thud u wil not get as altroz. - The interior plastic toughness is not as altroz. I feel due to low weight plastic, they maintained less kerb weight of the vehicle. I feel it w get 4 or below safety rating. - Rear seat width is more than altroz and gives better cushion. - If driver is tall, then the rear seat knee room become less. Test drive. - Pickup and refinement with ac is better than altroz. Engine looks stress free even with ac. - Noise level is bit more than altroz. - Steering feed back/response is not crisp as altroz but it's far better than WagonR and it should not be that much crisp in suv to avoid body roll during cornering. - Low end power is good. Car easily picks up in 1st gear without any jerks/stress. Can easily picks up in 2nd gear to with ac. But what I feel is after 3/4 gear, mid range power is not that much as altroz. So altroz has good mid range power in 3rd/4th. Punch has from 1st till 3rd. Its made more of city drive and made of village drive where off-road and hill station involved which requires more of 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. One who is looking purely for city can go for it without much worry. I will again test drive it as test drive car fuel got empty in the middle of test drive.

It is as good as any four cylinder engine of maruti or hyundai, you can see videos of Noice comparison and vibration test of this car, tata is making one of the best super refined 3 cylinder engines
that's why some people refuse to buy it, Japanese engines, Honda and Suzuki are supremely refined and reliable. They don't want to spend 10 big ones on a car with a 1.2 3 Cyl NA engine, I wouldn't either.

Tiago won't offer you active sway control cruise control rear armrest key less entry. A tonne of features are missing if we expect features we have to pay for that. And the mud mode is also there in punch

Hello sir, I'm getting altroz XE @6.40L & punch pure @6.33L on road, which one is better option? It's my first car, I've more of city driving mainly in jaipur city. I'll be modifying base variant as per requirement else I don't have any such requirements.
I'm a altroz xe rethym owner i awaited for punch long time 1 year finally due to youtube videos and good feedback for altroz I choosed altroz at confusion stage now im feeling why missed punch due to seating comfort. I sacrificed seating comfort due to cabin long space in altroz ....tata worst in showcasing they should display all color not only blue white combination which looks like toy car
