Just a small warning with the ultrasonic jewelry cleaners, be careful with pave diamonds as the cleaner shakes them right out of the setting. I no longer use my cleaner because I had a few bad experiences and had to have some of my ring and necklace diamonds reset. Now I use ammonia with a little water, soak them for a while and then with a small toothbrush gently brush behind the stones then rinse them in cold water. It works amazing!
Those machine are brilliant! But as someone that worked in a jewellers, be careful with jewellery with stones (your diamonds!) and things like enamel etc as they can loosen the settings over time. The best thing I used was a super soft toothbrush like a baby toothbrush and fairy liquid. Give them a soak first then brush away and good as new!! x
I was just about to write the same as you. Ultrasonics, whilst fabulous can absolutely cause any stones that were already loose to fall out prematurely. Happened to me in a professional high end jewellery boutique recently, thankfully the stone fell out in the machine, which while annoying, at least it was not lost. Emerald stones and pearls should never be put in an ultrasonic. And, diamonds that are french pave set aren't recommended to be cleaned in these either. Not all settings do well in these. The high frequency sound waves generated during the cleaning process triggers stones that may have been around 3-9 months away from possibly falling out with a loose claw etc to dislodge earlier.
A wide and varied diet would give you all the vitamins and minerals you need. Plenty of fresh fruit and veg and minimal processed food. The only exception to this is vitamin d3 and vitamin b12.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't an oil be used at the end of your routine? I don't think it's meant to be a hydrating product, but rather an occlusive one, although it depends on the formulation of the product. I always used all my hydrating toners and essences on damp skin and then mix my moisturiser with an oil to seal it all in.

To ensure a higher chance of hydrophillic actives to penetrate the skin, waterbases go first, then oil bases to reduce epidermal waterloss and helps support the waterbased actives to penetrate deeper to area of function instead of risking the expensive actives just sitting on the top of the skin, not doing what they were formulated to do xx
I have that cleaner. I used mild dish soap 🧼 in mine and it works so well and I usually hit the cleaning cycle twice on all my jewelry. Gives a little extra sparkles. ❤️❤️💎

Be careful with the jewelry cleaner. I have the same one and it has vibrated diamonds out of my engagement ring 3 times. I luckily found them at the bottom under the basket. It also turns sterling silver to a dull dark grey finish. Just always check all your diamonds when you get them out.
Best thing to clean diamonds is gin ! Pop some gin in a small shot glass, and drop your rings in them over night. Next morning take out and rinse in warm water dry with a cloth or kitchen paper, and buff. They will sparkle 👍
I have a jewelry cleaner like that. Add some ammonia or windex with the water. Also always check your stones especially pave ones are still in the setting. They often jiggle out and then you need to find the small stone among the sediment in the water.
Never use a jewellery cleaner. My late dad was a very well known designer and jeweller. Take your rings etc and hang them on a paper clip on the edge of a small saucepan and put a tiny bit of fairy liquid in and water and boil them in the foam for about a minute, then take a toothbrush and tap the rings etc to loosen the dirt. Rinse in cold water and your jewellery will look new again.
I use i little bit of toothpast. (Not the "whitning your teeth" but a simple toothpast & very very tiny bit) then with farewater and my jewelry, which are 925silver with gold plated, 😘👌🏼 And some are pieces i have for over 20y And for inbetween a special cloth for jewelry

Add a drop of washing up liquid, and then give them a brush with a really fine brush like a child’s toothbrush, don’t do your diamonds to often, could loosen over time.
I have a partially erupted lower wisdom tooth which kept getting swollen and sore repeatedly, it drove me crazy! Apparently it’s a bigger procedure to get a lower wisdom tooth removed so my dentist recommended pulling out the wisdom tooth above it so that I wasn’t constantly biting down on the lower one and pushing bacteria into it (gross I know). It’s a much quicker job than a lower extraction and healing time is a couple of days. It completely solved the issue so might be something to consider!
Get some yellow ammonia. (Never ever white) and a soft toothbrush. That is really all you need. Let them soak for a little bit (3 to 5 minutes). I worked at zales years ago and we had a sonic machine and my boss would fill it with yellow ammonia. A toothbrush would be somewhere nearby. All customers could come in for a free cleaning so I learned this part very well. Just buy yellow ammonia and a small soft bristles toothbrush and gently brush anywhere needed. I always took my wedding ring off when I was at home. I gardened a lot and didn’t want to get them caked in dirt. I also washed dishes and whenever my hands were in water they shrunk and I was terrified they would go down the drain! I don’t think it’s unusual to take them off.

Here goes, if you do your neroli oil over your cream moisturizer, it will act as a barrier and help the moisturizer work even better. I was a pharmacy assistant for 20 years, and that is the directive of the pharmacist. Second unsolicited tip of the day, in my college years, I was employed in a jewellery store . I did a lot of jewelry cleaning. Always use white gift tissue paper. Never facial tissues. The former help in buffing surface scratches and the later leaves a shit ton of lint on and between your stones, therefore defeating the purpose of cleaning. Have a wonderful day!!!

Yeah the idea is to not operate or remove teeth if they don't cause issues. We get x rays etc once in a while and the dentist can tell wether they'll be an issue or not! Most people don't have issues with them xx

There are different oils, some you need to do at end, but there are also dry oils that you can do in between bc they penitraid into skin for hydration

@@L8-4A-D8 You're welcome! And good on you for wanting to be more conscious. Palm oil also tastes awful in chocolates, which is a shame as many of the major brands use it and therefore contribute to deforestation. Two that don't are Lindt and Whittaker's (from New Zealand).

I always took my wedding ring off when I was at home. I gardened a lot and didn’t want to get them caked in dirt.

Here goes, if you do your neroli oil over your cream moisturizer, it will act as a barrier and help the moisturizer work even better. I was a pharmacy assistant for 20 years, and that is the directive of the pharmacist. Second unsolicited tip of the day, in my college years, I was employed in a jewellery store . I did a lot of jewelry cleaning. Always use white gift tissue paper. Never facial tissues. The former help in buffing surface scratches and the later leaves a shit ton of lint on and between your stones, therefore defeating the purpose of cleaning. Have a wonderful day!!!

I find it really interesting that you still have wisdom teeth - is that normal in the UK? In the US, a lot of us get our wisdom teeth removed so we don't develop issues with them
Yeah the idea is to not operate or remove teeth if they don't cause issues. We get x rays etc once in a while and the dentist can tell wether they'll be an issue or not! Most people don't have issues with them xx
