I love to hear our elders talk and tell about things and explain stuff and share their experiences. You could make a video one day if things slow down for you. ❤
How I would love to sit and listen to this precious lady talk, ask questions, and spend time with her learning more history to pass on. Her voice is so precious!!!!! And lovely.
That is really beautifully done! I’ve seen the large sifters but never a small one with horse hair. Love the size, the condition and the craftsmanship. I’ve learned so much from you and developed an appreciation for so many historical items I would have passed right by! Your knowledge and being so generous in sharing it with us is much appreciated. 40 years ago I walked into an antique shop just curious and was amazed at the thought that fragile items from so many years ago survived. I thought to myself this is what I want in my home and that is what started my adventure. Thank you so much for not only identifying items but sharing their history.
You mentioned these in another video and I couldn’t imagine a softer made of horse hair. I am so happy you found one to show us because now it makes sense. That was so cool and it was great you recognized it. The owner was just a doll and so proud of her find. I would be to. That is an extremely long time to hang on to something and such pristine condition. I just loved this whole video. As always thank you George for sharing your knowledge with us.
Wild George, that was absolutely brilliant. I love the video I had never seen one of those. I will know what it is if I ever see one that was absolutely great wow.😊😊😊😊!!!!!!!😊😊
Cheese? I’ve collected odd things since high school, started selling in January. eBay not what I had expected! Like valuation content. Sourcing not so much. It must be a challenge for you! Thanks for what you do! Sincerely…..

I could've spent more time with her for certain!
That is a very cool sifter 🎉
These interviews really make my day! 👍❤️🐩
She is 94 and quite alive and into it, I love that she’s had it 80 years and it was her first antique purchase

I have another of these in a home on the Ozarks. What a great find, and you knew exactly what it is!
Oh how cool! They're uncommon
That sweet lady sounds like she’s from Massachusetts.
Oh yes, she said 45 years in Florida had not tempered her accent lol
@@TheAntiqueNomadShortsBless her heart. I am a native speaker, which is how I recognized it. 😉
