    • @BTHardSurfaceConcept
      @BTHardSurfaceConcept  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a ton bruv!! So when you are dragging with any masking tool you can hold spacebar to move it elsewhere

  • @dodruku
    @dodruku 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi Breki Thor, I'm watching in preparation for the live session tonight. 19:16 have you tried using the old move transpose line with backface masking? It'll do the same thing in one stroke and pretty clean tooo. I usually go to the backface mask curve and make it very convex so that the move grabs more points. It works great if you want to quickly fill a space behind a shape, no matter the complexity. It'll work with rotate as well. Scale doesn't do what I'd expect it to though.

    • @dodruku
      @dodruku 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ... and since backface masking doesn't work with the gizmo you can easily switch between the two methods on the fly.

      Oh thanks man, will check it out! Hope you got something out of the live workshop!

    Looking at the intro image, I am confused on how to bring all those tips and pieces together to make something like that. Do you model with a traditional base mesh or maybe this is something that should be covered in a full video? Or paid tutorial. Either.
