Its our pleasure and thank you, the UK will be charge of "collecting" the EU taxes/tariffs and "registering" the goods that go into NI and across the frictionless border into the EU market...
Interesting. There is very little coverage of the practicalities of the deal here. Keep in mind that, as nick Bowles states in the video, if a future government negotiates a soft brexit then there won’t be a border
@@justjackman In all honesty, I would want the EU to limit it's integration and for us to remain but I think that has about as much chance of happening as us beating you lot at a penalty shootout!
It's hard to over-estimate the importance of tomorrow's vote in Parliament. The result is on a knife-edge. But it's clear to me that there is nothing in this Brexit deal to benefit our country. It will leave people worse off, jobs harder to find, businesses struggling and a race to the bottom as environmental and social standards are dumped. It looks like a huge con on the British people because, if the vote succeeds, it will take us into a short transition period - giving people the completely false impression that there will be no impact on living standards, or workers’ rights and consumer protections outside the EU. Boris Johnson will doubtless use this opportunity to try to win an election and put in power a hard-right government which will then run down the clock to the end of the transition period so we end up leaving with no deal. One of the Conservative hardliners has already admitted that this is the plan. Theresa May used to say "no deal is better than a bad deal". This deal is both: a bad deal with a no deal hidden inside. I plan to speak both in the debate, and at the People's Vote rally outside. I hope you can be there. (Caroline Lucas - Green MP for Brighton)

Interesting, this is exactly the type of amendment I had asked about in a number of other videos but never got an answer on: so it is possible to add such an amendment
The DUP are irrelevant. Why? Because an ARMY of Labour MPs will descend upon the yes lobby on Saturday. Hopefully we can also block this nonsense Letwin amendment which seems to have good intentions at first but smells extremely dodgy.

Patrick - Genuine? She's a career politician, so she's only going to say what's in her interest, and she's as slippery as a barrel of eels. When you've been around for 55 years, like I have, you learn to be wary of all politicians as a default position.
Bizarre "you're not really serious about independence unless you're willing to get it illegally" talking point from Cathy Newman. Is she trying to get a job with the BBC?
Labour: When you didn't want no-deal and yet are voting against the deal *to avoid no-deal* although there might not be an extension and thus a no-deal brexit. Tory: When you wanted a no-deal but you are voting for the deal to get a no-deal Brexit. ABSURD! Please listen to Nick Boles: 14:26
The EU already indicated there would be an extension if this deal doesn't get through . Chances are it would be a lot longer than the end of January 2020 though . The proviso probably would be either a referendum or a general election would be held in that time period .
@@blackphilip8936 It isn't the EU's fault that the UK parliament is just as divided as the country itself is. It isn't the EU's fault that Brexit has largely been an instrument of party political warfare. Both sides are pumping _billions_ into no-deal preparations. Both sides are becoming increasingly frustrated. Both sides have other important matters to deal with other than Brexit. There is no kind of agreement that can entirely satisfy both sides. Either the UK accepts that the EU has more leverage and accepts an unfavourable deal or the EU will at some point take the initiative and resolve this Schrödinger's Brexit. And since only the UK can revoke its declaration of article 50, the EU has only one option: to refuse an extension and therefor no-deal. The EU isn't stupid, they knew that, given the red lines, no-deal was the most likely outcome from very early on: th-cam.com/video/agZ0xISi40E/w-d-xo.html
Brittain will always have to deal with the EU, whether there is a Brexit or not. It looks like the Brexit has only one positive thing, which is that Scotland and Ireland will become independent from the UK if this is what they want. Leaving the EU will not bring more opportunities, except trade with the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, etc. on separate conditions than the EU conditions. Why would that benefit the UK?
Why can all MP come together find a solution for the best deal then present to the EU instead of one party proposing a deal to the EU then wait for the members of Parlement to vote . Nothing makes sense with this system!!!! They are paid to debate criticise each others raising concern and issues instead of coming togeher and looking for a solution .
Who knows WTF he'll do. Only thing we can guarantee is that whatever he does, any relationship his actions have to the Best National Interest will be entirely incidental.
If MPs thought Brexiteer MPs might suddenly withdraw support to bring about no deal, could some Labour MPs not just vote for the deal? It wouldn’t take many of them
TOXIC TORIES - ANTI SEMITIC LABOUR RACIST PARTY. There is only one party left who are honest and have always told us the truth about the corruption within the EU and UK Governments and that is the BREXIT PARTY in the next and all future elections VOTE BREXIT.
Why not first approve in Parliament -- deal Parliament wants, and then proceed to negotiations with EU? Cause other way around is looking like silly beating the bush thing
Isn't Boris just really placing an blank sheet of paper stating I have an deal but no detail and actually expects parliament to vote in favour of it?...now that's surely without precedent without respect to parliament or the people and also no way to conduct an negotiation...blindly asking for obedience is not an positive sign and many MPS have already expressed there concern...so its not just about the votes of the DUP the ERG the so-called Labour leavers or the Tory rebels is it...how about the MPS who expressed this concern how will they vote? ...Also how great an majority to vote in the Benn act and wasn't economics the issue there as this deal isn't costed either so how many will consider the financial aspect of the so-called deal and how without this detaul can any informed decision be made...Johnson hasn't made the vote easy and in the circumstances of Mr johnsons extreme haste it should really be voted down...which brings me to the extension which the EU may refuse even if parliament rejects the deal two can play at games and isn't the EU now quite deliberately making room for revocation of article 50...Its the only option left therefore i believe they are?
The ammendment should have never been allowed to be added, its not even relevant to that piece of legislastion. MPs should be following proper channels to propose bills/legislation to be enacted, not randomly adding to unrelated bills their own whims. Its like ammending into a bill on Mental health a policy relating to military budgetary expenditure.
Borris and Leo played a blinder here and out flanked the DUP....this will be a great day in Irish and English history and I expect Anglo Irish relations to be at and all time high if this passes!! Borris must be one of the greatest politicians of all time imo!! Cometh the hour cometh the man.
The good Friday agreement was Sunningdale for slow learners. This deal is Theresa May's backstop for slow learners. N.I will now have special diplomatic status. It is now no longer as British as Swansea or York. Foreigners now have legal authority over it in some way shape or form. Neither Johnson nor the Tories are Unionists let alone even real sovereigntists. If the Scots get the idea that English attitudes and political dynamics can run roughshod over every other part of Britain, then the next independence referendum will be a lot closer. Possibly even successful for the nationalists.
If Labour thinks it is a worse deal, then they have convinced me that it is a good deal. ( also JR-M thinks it is OK and that is good enough for me)!!!
Most goods will cost an extra 3% in Northern Ireland as the Vat rate is due to be aligned in NI with the Republic which currently stands at 23% on most goods. Will we also have to pay Vat on newspapers and magazines as well now?
Brexit that cannot be done will impose the economy, politic and other policies that related to UK and it is a bad idea to start it and never calls an end. Hope this will be done by Boris Johnson.
Anyone who vote for this rushed job, no time provided to seriously study the deal , irresponsible! I watched the Irish republic guy preening and immediately knew Borris sold out northern Irish( their lives , no say). This deal ultimately devolves the uk , awful!

An EU win is chump chips. As is a BoZo win in parliament. It's the resultant loss to everyone except the rich and MPs. Brexiters and Remainers, the poor and middle class alike due to reducing standards but increased cost of living.
From the EU I have to say that if our English friends reject this, Brexit will have become impossible. BJ has done the impossible, yes you lose all kinds of regulations but aint that what this was all about? Now you can start from scratch. A small coarse on basic survival may not be a bad idea.
Erm? so Krankie's SNP wanted to leave the UK and lost the referendum....whined about it ever since.... BUT The UK voted to leave the EU in a referendum and they whine about that too ...seems what's good for the Goose is not good for the Gander..tedious hypocrites
@@redarmy1778 unfortunately not that easy I'm afraid. If it was that easy then why has BoJo been working so hard to get a deal? Either way we all find out very soon but I know where my money is and it is not on a no-deal.
the only card remoaners have is the benn act act surrender act, but article 50 which over rules the benn act says we leave with or without a deal on October 31st, so its this deal or wto, macron has also stated he will veto any extension remoaners beg for
@@redarmy1778 Right now I wouldn't bet against an extension. This deal will not pass tomorrow - too many saying they are not going to support it. The Benn Act will compel Johnson to get an extension and all EU member States will agree to this because none of them want a no-deal Brexit on Oct 31st. Some believe that Article 51 will allow the UK to exit on Oct 31st with no deal but the text of this Article is explicit as to what it covers and protects and Johnson's request for an extension would not come under the protections of this. Once an extension is secured, there has to be a general election. Will any party secure a majority to put through their version of Brexit? If not, then the only way that any UK government can get any closure would be to hold a 2nd Referendum. I think after this Brexit will still be the winner and the UK government should then be in a stronger negotiating position.
Why does there have to bea vote tomorrow? Why not next week, giving mp's time to look at it properly? So johson can try to evade the requirements of the benn act?
Hopefully Brexit will Pass The Parliament, but the Harder Thing will be to Fulfil the Promises The Tories made to the British People. Let's hope they will put the shoulder to the wheel and get things done, eh Lads.

this is not a deal just a withdrawal agreement... you can renegotiate the deal every year if you want in the next 200 years
withdrawal agreement contains:
1. eu citizens in the uk
2. uk citizens in the eu
3. northern ireland border location
4. 2 years implementation period that can be extended
Defenetely Bruxelles is much happier than London that's shows the deal is not good for UK
Well, shoot, hope I get a chance to visit the UK before it dissolves its union... Crazy times we live in...
It will not split up. The Scots are fed up with the Parliament and we can see why ....they never had any interest in the British union only working towards the EU. Sold out the four nations. The Scots voted the Labour far left party out the party in Scotland collapsed. So they vote the SNP. Who are worse that Labour left the SNP are far right socialist... Scot Nazis say they want Independence to give it away to a socialist collective EU. 23:35 Labour have given the SNP to break the British union and wipe their hands of breaking the union ...to say they had nothing anything to do with it. SNP are a tool for the English far left... same goal difference socialist parties
C4 are making a real meal ...it comes down to NI will leave it's then up to the South Ireland ...after the S. Ireland had to vote again in their EU referendum ...the first was stay it if the EU and their political tratiors MADE them vote again till they got the referendum result they political elites = globalist wanted. Nicole Sturgeon us a wind bag the Scots want in the Union, SNP they got in because it was a protest vote. Never reported that many Scots hate the SNP.
@William Morey-Baker ignore pee Ivate, they are spamming everything.
Yes William it will split within 10 years if this agreement is passed.
Ruled by devious mischevious RASPUTIN aka Boris aka CHAMBERLAIN traitor.
Yeah, that wasn't on the referendum, was it? Oh, well. Can't be 'undemocratic' about it - a non binding referendum must consume our entire focus for years until we implement the results. Go Figure.
In the German television, they say: The new deal is a deal without a backstop but with a backstop inside. Because there will be a border in the Irish sea and the UK work for us and make the customs checks. Thank you, UK for the free work. :D

I think the people voted leave. But the politicians didn’t feel like following. Oh and sorry for the inconvenient wasted Saturday.
"I think the people voted leave." 52% of voters did one day - some 37% of "the people".
Priti Patel isn't pretty...
Bojo evil EU bad deal. No to bad deal
My take is Boris will get his vote for the simple reason majority of Brits are so fed up with BREXIT. But UK’s future with Brexit and Boris Johnson will be dark and uncertain.
Interesting, this is exactly the type of amendment I had asked about in a number of other videos but never got an answer on: so it is possible to add such an amendment
Brexit is a hilarious 😂 sitcom. You have adults who can’t make a decision abusing tax payers money and playing hide and seek...
The DUP is the deal destroyer
The DUP are irrelevant. Why? Because an ARMY of Labour MPs will descend upon the yes lobby on Saturday. Hopefully we can also block this nonsense Letwin amendment which seems to have good intentions at first but smells extremely dodgy.
Irish person here. Most striking thing in this video was how impressive Nicola Sturgeon is as a speaker - shrewd and forceful, but not impolite, and seems fairly genuine
just like Jimmy krankie.
Season 3 finale looks promising. The drama, the tension, the fears. Good show.
Just waiting for the curtains...
But on who will they fall?
WE FKN VOTED TO LEAVE FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
23:34 so what you’re saying is... you’d be happy to go to prison? Cathy Newman’s lazy hypotheticals strike again 🙄
I just cannot stomach Mainstream Media anymore
BJ will then stall the further negotiations so that no deal will happen at the end of 2020!
Who knows WTF he'll do. Only thing we can guarantee is that whatever he does, any relationship his actions have to the Best National Interest will be entirely incidental.
A no-deal at the end of the transition phase is not the same as a no-deal now. Please check the small print.
If MPs thought Brexiteer MPs might suddenly withdraw support to bring about no deal, could some Labour MPs not just vote for the deal? It wouldn’t take many of them
Do we actually know what this deal commits the country to? ... if MPs don't vote this deal I can see them paying when the election occurs
TOXIC TORIES - ANTI SEMITIC LABOUR RACIST PARTY. There is only one party left who are honest and have always told us the truth about the corruption within the EU and UK Governments and that is the BREXIT PARTY in the next and all future elections VOTE BREXIT.
Would Johnson risk splitting the country so his backers can avoid ATAD?
You know the answer to that!
@Albert Pike Rubbish shitpost, Al. Someone mentioned Putin - so you go and perform there for us.

Why not first approve in Parliament -- deal Parliament wants, and then proceed to negotiations with EU? Cause other way around is looking like silly beating the bush thing
EXPLAIN IT TO ME LIKE I AM A LABORADOR DOG
... and stay...
Ms Sturgeon, the only sane voice in the not-so United Kingdom.
This deal is wurse than the former deal. EU is very pleased with this deal and it gives an enormus advantage to EU in the comming negotiations.
It's SUPER SATURDAY folks! I wonder what they're going to sell? Not the British people down the river, I hope.
Worse than May's deal and breaks the Union. Ae they going to rename the Conservative and Unionist Party?
It’s like watching the fall of Rome over the course of centuries but instead over just a few years.
We are all 10 year olds in Channel 4's eyes? 🧐
Rex Stout agreed
where are you from pat? some massive power player country?
@pat dunne The constitution of the Republic of Ireland disagrees with you. The article in question was passed through popular consent by a referendum.
If Labour thinks it is a worse deal, then they have convinced me that it is a good deal. ( also JR-M thinks it is OK and that is good enough for me)!!!
@Geoff Currie what you should be asking yourself is this: why do all the eu members look so happy with the deal?
There happy cause its all gd. For them it's the surrender. Treaty. Way lippy on it
@John farrell well they have everything they wanted. Boris’s way of being tough on the Agreement was to capitulate on everything.

Sink this deal. It is Mays deal with Northern Ireland sacrificed as required by the EU. Boris is polishing a turd.

Vanessa Smith if the remoaners dint vote for this deal we leave on wto, either way we leave October 31st
@@redarmy1778 unfortunately not that easy I'm afraid. If it was that easy then why has BoJo been working so hard to get a deal? Maybe he is just playing everyone, maybe it's a double bluff, or maybe he realises that the UK must have a deal in place before they exit the EU. Either way we all find out very soon but I know where my money is and it is not on a no-deal.
the only card remoaners have is the benn act act surrender act, but article 50 which over rules the benn act says we leave with or without a deal on October 31st, so its this deal or wto, macron has also stated he will veto any extension remoaners beg for
Gabriel Kelly whats your money on then?
If Letwins in favour it must be a bad one
Why does there have to bea vote tomorrow? Why not next week, giving mp's time to look at it properly? So johson can try to evade the requirements of the benn act?
