- 1992 Cy Young Award winner Greg Maddux returns to Wrigley Field to face his old team on Opening Day. Harry Caray, Steve Stone and Thom Brennaman have the call as WGN-TV celebrates its 45th year of televising Cubs baseball. Complete with pregame, post and commercials.
At 21:27, I nearly lost my shit when I heard ol' Harry tell me who sponsors the Cubs defense. Talk about marking a moment in time. Crystal Pepsi was a thing for about 16 days. Thanks for this gem of an upload.

Greg Maddux in 1993... 1st half was 8-8 2.83... 2nd half was 12-2 1.79 to finish 1993 season 20-10 2.36, and he won his second of four consecutive Cy Young awards.

Very prophetic what Steve Stone says about David Justice at 29:45. Perhaps the only hitter in the NL that had a better year in ‘93 was the eventual MVP Barry Bonds
