Written by Bert Berns, Are You Lonely For Me was a big hit for Freddie Scott in 1967! However, when Chuck Jackson covered it during his Motown tenure in the late 1960's, the song and Chuck Jackson got lost in the Motown shuffle!
Al Green did a fantastic version also back in 1970 on HI label

True motown didn't work for everybody he said himself that was his biggest mistake he made was going to motown he did do some good songs there but like you said he got lost in the motown shuffle I think they didn't know what to do with him well we grateful for all the good music he gave big and small R.I.P Chuck

yes Venus i was a former New York City radio station recording engineer and friend and fan of the late great Jackie Wilson.....i was in contact with Jackie Wilson from the years 1964 thru 1969 and he never mentioned " Night Train " to me...anyway Venus please notify me if you ever post more live videos of Jackie Wilson especially his appearance on the Merv Griffin show or any other rare clips...hope to hear from you...i like what you are doing .

Totally off topic but why int he hell did they cut his hair like that? His edge up comes straight down from the corner of his hairline. There is no separation in his horizontal hair line edge and the vertical. It just comes straight down making it look like he had a huge forehead. It looks odd. That's all. Love the performance and his voice though. I just think whomever did his haircut did a terrible job. lol
